Deposit Bonuses

A larger top-up can earn you extra credit at no cost. But two entirely different things on Onflow Ads are called a deposit bonus, they come from separate ladders, they are decided at different moments, and they land in different pockets.

Getting them the wrong way round is the easiest mistake to make here, so this page separates them first and explains each one afterwards.

They are independent. A single deposit can earn both, one, or neither.

Neither bonus is money you paid for

A bonus is credit granted on top of a deposit, not a discount on the fee and not part of what you were charged. That is why it does not raise your lifetime funding, why it is never withdrawable, and why an approved refund removes it rather than paying it out.

1. The wallet deposit bonus

Extra wallet cash added on top of a qualifying top-up. It is the one you can see before you pay.

It is promotional, and it changes

There is no permanent schedule. Wallet bonuses are switched on, adjusted and switched off as promotions run, and they are configured separately for each payment method. The bonuses live right now are always shown on the payment page before you pay — that display is the authority.

If no ladder is shown for a method, there is no wallet bonus on that method at the moment.

Check the crypto ladder even if you normally pay by card

Bonus ladders are set per payment method, and the two methods do not carry the same offers. Crypto payments cost the business less to process, and the bonus ladder is the main way that saving is passed back — so the strongest wallet bonuses usually sit there. Select each method on the wallet page and compare what it shows for the amount you had in mind.

How thresholds work

Each rung of a ladder is a minimum deposit and a bonus attached to it. For example, a ladder might read:

Deposit at leastBonus
$500+$25
$1,000+$60

Two rules decide what you get.

1. The bonus is matched on the amount you are depositing — the number you type, the amount that will be credited. It is not matched on the fee-inclusive total, so adding the fee on top never carries you up a rung.

2. Only the highest rung you reach applies. Rungs never stack. You earn one bonus per deposit, or none.

A worked example

Against the ladder above, deposit $1,501:

  • You have passed the $500 rung and the $1,000 rung.
  • The highest one you reached is $1,000, so you earn the $1,000 rung's bonus — and only that one.
  • You do not earn $25 plus $60. The rungs are not added together.
  • Passing $1,000 by $501 does not earn anything extra either. Until the ladder has a higher rung, everything above $1,000 is bonused at the $1,000 rate.

So it is always worth checking how close you are to the next rung. The page does this for you: once you are within half of the next threshold, it prints a nudge such as "Add $20.00 more to get +$60.00."

Fixed-amount and percentage rungs

A rung can be written either way, and the payment page labels which it is:

KindWhat it meansExample on a $2,000 deposit
Fixed amountA flat sum, the same however far above the rung you deposit.A rung reading "+$60.00 extra" grants $60.00.
PercentageA share of the amount you are depositing, so it grows with the deposit.A rung reading "+5% extra" grants $100.00.

A percentage bonus is calculated on the deposit itself, never on the fee-inclusive total, and is rounded to the nearest whole cent (or paise on a UPI or card top-up). The two kinds can appear on the same ladder.

A bonus running on the other payment method

The ladder on the page only ever speaks for the method you have selected. So when the other method has a wallet bonus running, the page says so in a green notice under the ladders — for example "Crypto payments have a bonus running. Bonuses start at +$25.00 extra on a deposit of $500 or more. Pay with crypto to get the offer." — with a Switch to crypto (or Switch to UPI / Card) button that changes the method for you. The offer is always quoted in that method's own currency. Nothing is shown when the other method has no bonus, or is not available.

Where you see it

  • In the Deposit bonuses box on the payment page. Each rung reads "Deposit $500 or more" against its value, and the rung your current amount has reached is highlighted and tagged Applied.
  • In the breakdown. A qualifying amount adds a Bonus row, and the You will receive row becomes credit plus bonus.
  • On your invoice. A granted bonus appears as a Deposit bonus line printed below Total paid, because it is not part of what you paid, plus a green callout in the email body. The subject line changes too: "Your Onflow Ads receipt — $105.00 added, bonus included (OFI-…)".
  • In your wallet Activity. The bonus lands as its own green credit reading Deposit bonus, separate from the "Wallet top-up" credit.

When it is granted

  • The bonus is locked in when you start the payment, at the same moment as your fee rate. A promotion ending while you are at the checkout cannot take away a bonus you were already quoted — and an admin editing the ladder cannot re-bonus an order already pending.
  • It is credited in the same atomic step as the deposit itself, so it can never land twice, and it can never land without the deposit.
  • If the top-up never completes, no bonus is granted — there is nothing to attach it to.

2. The boost-credit deposit bonus

A completely separate scheme that grants Boost Credits — the promotional pocket auto-applied to Boost Metrics orders and spendable on nothing else.

The live ladder

Deposit at leastBoost Credits granted
$50.00+5% of the deposit
$200.00+10% of the deposit
  • Matched on the USD credit, so a UPI top-up qualifies on its dollar equivalent at the locked rate.
  • Highest threshold only — the two rungs do not stack.
  • Granted in the same exactly-once step as the deposit, and recorded against the top-up.
  • Appears in the Boost Credits stat tile and in your boost-credit statement as "Deposit bonus (+5% boost credit)".

Where you see it

  • In the Boost Credits bonus box on the payment page, under the wallet ladder. It appears for both payment methods, because the bonus is matched on the dollar value credited whichever method paid. Each rung reads "Deposit $50 or more" against "+5% in Boost Credits"; when you are paying in rupees, the rung also says roughly what that is in rupees at the current rate. The rung your amount has reached is highlighted and tagged Applied.
  • In the breakdown. A qualifying amount adds a Boost Credits row showing the credit you will receive, marked For Boost orders only. It sits apart from You will receive, because it is not wallet cash.
The figure on the page is a preview, and the grant is decided at settlement

The wallet bonus is locked onto the order when you press pay. The Boost Credits bonus is decided when the payment is confirmed, from the ladder as it stands at that moment, on the dollar value locked onto the order. The two almost always agree to the cent; on a rupee top-up the preview uses the live rate, so it can differ by a cent or two from what is granted.

The two ladders stack with each other

They are independent schemes reading independent tables, so a single deposit can earn a wallet bonus and a boost-credit bonus at the same time. What never stacks is two rungs of the same ladder.

What bonus credit can and cannot do

  • Both bonuses are spendable — the wallet bonus on anything, the boost-credit bonus on Boost orders.
  • Neither is withdrawable. Like topped-up money, promotional credit stays in-platform; only Paid-Promotions earnings can be cashed out. See Your Balance and Transaction History.
  • Neither counts toward your lifetime funding, which tracks the money that actually arrived. Your deposit does; the bonus on top of it does not.
  • Neither survives a refund of the deposit that earned it.
A refund removes both bonuses — you are paid out on the deposit alone

An approved top-up refund is quoted on the credit only. The bonuses are not paid out to an external destination, and they do not stay behind either:

  • The wallet bonus is frozen alongside the deposit while the request is open, and removed from your balance in the same step that removes the deposit. A $50 top-up that earned a $5 bonus freezes $55 and unwinds $55.
  • The boost-credit bonus is clawed back from your Boost Credits, clamped to what you still hold — so if you have already spent some of it, only the remainder is taken and your balance is never driven negative.
  • If someone referred you, their commission on that deposit is reversed too, on the same clamped terms.

See Requesting a Top-up Refund.

FAQ

Do I have to claim a bonus, or enter a code? No. There are no codes. If your amount reaches a rung, the bonus is applied automatically.

Can I combine two rungs by making one big deposit? No — a single deposit earns one rung of a ladder, the highest it reaches. It can still earn one rung of each different ladder.

Can I combine rungs by making several deposits? Each deposit is matched on its own amount, so two $500 deposits each earn the $500 rung rather than one $1,000 rung. Whether that beats a single larger deposit depends on the ladder in front of you — compare the rungs shown on the page.

Does the bonus reduce my platform fee? No. The fee is worked out on the amount you are depositing, as described in Deposit Fees and Your Plan. The bonus is added afterwards, on the credit side.

Does my plan change the bonus? No. Bonus rungs are the same for everyone using a given payment method. Your plan sets the deposit fee, not the bonus.

I deposited in rupees. What is my wallet bonus worth? UPI wallet bonuses are quoted in rupees and converted to USD at the same exchange rate locked for your deposit — so a later rate move cannot change what the bonus is worth, just as it cannot change your credit.
