Troubleshooting Telegram bot

Fix any message you meet while starting @OnflowAdsBot, connecting your Telegram account, adding an email address or signing in with Telegram. Find the message you see, or the thing that is not working.

Nothing on this page costs money, and none of it depends on your plan. The bot draws card titles and button labels in small capitals; this page prints them in ordinary letters. Messages that do not arrive, campaigns, ad posts and channel checks are on Troubleshooting bot messages and ad posts.

The bot does not answer, or answers with something unexpected

These cards cover the bot's private chat: what it says when you press Start, type something or tap a button, and what to do when it stays silent.

"One quick step"

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a card with the buttons Join the channel and I've joined. If you tapped a button instead, a pop-up says "Join our updates channel first. One tap, then everything works."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The bot acts on your messages and taps only while your Telegram account is a member of the official Onflow Ads updates channel. The card reads "Join our updates channel to use this bot. Your notifications and alerts keep arriving either way." and names the channel. Its last lines are "Next: Join the channel, then tap I've joined. Everything unlocks the moment you do." and, folded away, "Feature releases, maintenance windows and the announcements that affect your campaigns are posted there first."

  • How to fix it:
    1. Tap Join the channel and join it in Telegram.
    2. Go back to the bot and tap I've joined. The card changes to You are in.
    3. If the bot does not carry on with what you came to do, tap the original button or link once more.

"Not seeing you in the channel yet — join it, then tap again."

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a pop-up after you tap I've joined on the One quick step card.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Telegram does not show this Telegram account as a member of the updates channel. You tapped before joining, or you joined with a different Telegram account.

  • How to fix it:
    1. Tap Join the channel and press Telegram's own join button.
    2. Check that you are using the same Telegram account in the channel and in the bot's chat.
    3. Wait a few seconds, then tap I've joined again.

"One more tap"

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a card straight after you joined the updates channel. It reads "Tap the button or link you came from once more and it will go through."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You were stopped by One quick step after tapping a button or typing something. You are now let in, but the bot cannot repeat that tap for you.

  • How to fix it:

Tap the original button in the bot's chat again, or press the button on the website again. Nothing was lost.

"Account restricted"

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a card with a Contact support button. It reads "Your account has been suspended." or "Your account is suspended until date.", then "Next: Open the website to see the details, or contact support if you think this is a mistake." A tap on any button shows the same sentence as a pop-up.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The Onflow Ads account connected to this Telegram account is suspended. While that lasts, the bot ignores what you send or tap, and it does not repeat the card for every message.

  • How to fix it:

Open the website to read the details. If you think it is a mistake, open https://onflowads.com/support and write to our team with your OFA ID. A suspension with a date ends by itself on that date; it cannot be lifted from Telegram. Account standing and restrictions explains what a suspension means.

"Slow down a little and try again in a moment."

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a pop-up on a button. A typed message sent too fast gets no reply at all.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You tapped or typed many times in a few seconds, or pressed the same link or the Get the post here button again and again.

  • How to fix it:

Wait a few seconds, then tap or send once. That one tap was dropped and nothing was changed.

"Already on it."

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a pop-up after you tap the same button twice in a row.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The bot is still carrying out your first tap. The second tap was ignored so that the action happens once.

  • How to fix it:

Do nothing. Wait for the result of the first tap.

"This button has retired. Manage everything on the Onflow Ads website."

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a pop-up after you tap a button on an old message.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The message comes from the bot's earlier chat menus. Those menus are gone; everything they did is now done on the website.

  • How to fix it:

Send the bot any message to get the current welcome card, then press Open Onflow Ads and do the task on the website. You can delete the old message.

The bot answers everything with "Welcome to Onflow Ads"

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, after you type a question, a command such as /help or /menu, send a sticker or a file, or open the bot with a link it does not recognise.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The bot has no commands, no menu and no conversation. It answers anything it cannot act on with its welcome card, and nothing on your account changes. The card can arrive without its animation or without the Follow us button; the words and the Open Onflow Ads button are the same.

  • How to fix it:

Press Open Onflow Ads and work on the website. For help, open https://onflowads.com/support. If you meant to connect your Telegram account, start from Connect Telegram on the website: pressing Start on its own connects nothing. See Connecting your Telegram account to the bot.

The bot does not reply at all

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat. You press Start, type or tap a button, and nothing comes back, or a button stops spinning without a result.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

There are several possible causes. You wrote to the bot in a group, and it answers only in its private chat. You tapped or typed too fast. You have blocked the bot. A One quick step or Account restricted card was sent moments ago and is not repeated straight away. The bot met a problem with that one tap. Rarely, the bot itself is briefly unavailable.

  • How to fix it:
    1. Open the private chat at https://t.me/OnflowAdsBot and unblock the bot if you blocked it.
    2. Scroll up and look for a One quick step or Account restricted card. If there is one, follow its card on this page.
    3. Wait a minute, then send one message or tap once.
    4. If the task also exists on the website, do it there.

"That account is no longer listed"

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a card after you press one of the official-account buttons under your message box. It reads "It was taken off our official list, so there is nothing to open. Your buttons have been updated."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The account behind that button was removed from our official list after your buttons were sent. If the whole list is empty, Follow us answers "Nothing to show yet" with "There are no official accounts to show right now.", or the pop-up "Nothing here just yet — check back soon."

  • How to fix it:

Use the buttons the bot shows now. There is nothing to open for the removed one. Do not trust an account that is not on that list.

"Our official accounts changed"

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a short note that arrives without a notification sound. It reads "The buttons under your message box are up to date."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Our list of official accounts changed, or the bot sent the buttons again. Two sister notes mean the same kind of thing: "Buttons refreshed", and "Official accounts", which reads "That list is empty for now, so the buttons under your message box have been taken away."

  • How to fix it:

Do nothing. Only the row of buttons under your message box changed; your account did not. If the buttons are hidden, tap Telegram's keyboard icon in the message box.

The status page shows a problem beside Telegram bot

  • Where you see it:

The website's status page at https://onflowads.com/status. The Telegram bot row reads "degraded", "posting paused", "down" or "not monitored" instead of "operational".

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The bot is not running normally, or our team has paused posting for a while.

  • How to fix it:

Nothing needs doing on your side. When the row reads "operational" again, open your campaign page to see where things stand. The system status page explains each row.

Connecting Telegram: messages from the bot

These cards cover what the bot says after you press Connect Telegram on the website and Telegram opens. Nothing is connected until you tap Yes, connect it.

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a card with the button Open your account. It reads "This Telegram connection link has expired or was already used." and "Next: Open your account on the website and tap Connect Telegram again to get a fresh link."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

A connection link works once and for a short time. Yours was opened too late, was already used, or was copied incompletely. It also happens when you spend a while joining the updates channel first.

  • How to fix it:

Go back to the website and press Connect Telegram again. On the connection screen the button is Open Telegram and connect or Reopen Telegram. Then finish in Telegram straight away. Nothing was connected by the expired link.

"That button has expired."

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a pop-up after you tap Yes, connect it on an old Connect this Telegram? card.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The card is too old for its button to work. Nothing was connected.

  • How to fix it:

Start again from Connect Telegram on the website and tap Yes, connect it on the new card.

"Already connected elsewhere"

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a card with a Contact support button. It reads "This Telegram is already linked to a different Onflow Ads account." and "Next: Sign in to that account, or contact support to move it."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

One Telegram account pairs with one Onflow Ads account. This Telegram account already belongs to another one. Often that is an account you made yourself earlier with Log in with Telegram. Nothing changed on either account.

  • How to fix it:
    1. Sign in to the other account with Log in with Telegram to see what is on it.
    2. If you want to keep using that account, stop here and use it.
    3. To have the two accounts put together, open https://onflowads.com/support from your main account and quote both OFA IDs.
    4. Do not create a third account.

"Account already linked"

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a card with a Contact support button. It reads "That Onflow Ads account is already connected to a different Telegram." and "Next: Contact support if you need to change it."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The Onflow Ads account that made the link already has another Telegram account on it. This usually means you opened the link in a second Telegram account.

  • How to fix it:

Open the link in the Telegram account that is already connected. Your account page names it: "Your Telegram is connected as your Telegram name". You cannot swap the Telegram account yourself. If you need it changed, ask support at https://onflowads.com/support and say why.

"Could not connect"

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, as a card with the button Open your account. It reads "Something went wrong while connecting your Telegram." and "Next: Try again from the website: open your account and tap Connect Telegram."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

A fault on our side interrupted the connection. Nothing was connected, and the link may have been used up.

  • How to fix it:

Wait a minute, then press Connect Telegram on the website again. If it happens again, tell support the time it happened and your OFA ID.

The Connect this Telegram? card names an account that is not yours

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat. The card shows "Account:" followed by an email address, partly hidden, that you do not recognise.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You opened a connection link that someone else created and sent to you. The card itself warns: "Not yours? ignore this message. Someone sent you their own link, and connecting would send their order and payment alerts to you."

  • How to fix it:

Do not tap Yes, connect it. Ignore the message; nothing is connected until that button is tapped. If you already tapped it, your Telegram account now sits on their account and cannot be used for yours. Write to support at https://onflowads.com/support at once.

You tapped Yes, connect it and the bot said nothing more

  • Where you see it:

The bot's chat, after a second tap on Yes, connect it. The button has gone from the card and no new message arrives.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Your first tap connected you. The second tap is ignored on purpose, so the connection is made once.

  • How to fix it:

Do nothing. Look for the Telegram connected card a little higher in the chat, then go back to the website.

Contact support opens the connection screen instead of support

  • Where you see it:

The website, after you press Contact support on a bot card. A page headed "Connect Telegram to continue" or "Add your email to continue" opens instead of the support page.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The button opens the Support page of your dashboard. Dashboard pages open only for an account that has finished connecting, and yours has not.

  • How to fix it:

Open https://onflowads.com/support instead. It starts the support chat without the dashboard, signed in or not. The Help button does the same on any page that shows it. See The support link.

Connecting Telegram: messages on the website

These cards cover the Telegram connection card on your account page, the connection screen that opens before the dashboard, and the connection step in Subscriber Exchange.

"Could not start linking. Please try again."

  • Where you see it:

The website, under the Connect Telegram button on your account page or the Open Telegram and connect button on the connection screen. In Subscriber Exchange it reads "Could not start linking. Try again."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The website could not create your connection link this time. Telegram was not opened and nothing was connected.

  • How to fix it:

Press the button again. If the message keeps coming back, contact support at https://onflowads.com/support.

"Network error. Please try again."

  • Where you see it:

The website, under the Connect Telegram button, or under the address or code field while you add an email.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Your internet connection dropped while the page was sending your request. The page cannot tell whether the request arrived. Nothing is lost either way.

  • How to fix it:

Check your connection and press the same button again. If a code email arrives after all, use the newest one.

"Too many attempts. Please wait a few minutes and try again."

  • Where you see it:

The website, under Connect Telegram or Send me a code. On the code step the sentence is "Too many attempts. Please wait a minute and try again."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You pressed the button, or sent codes, many times in a short while. For your security the website pauses new requests for a moment.

  • How to fix it:

Wait for the time the message names, then press once and finish the step. A connection link you already opened in Telegram still works until it expires.

"This feature is temporarily unavailable. Please try again shortly."

  • Where you see it:

The website, in the status line of the step you were on. The sentence can add a short detail before "Please try again shortly." Three sister messages are "The site is busy right now and this did not go through. Please try again in a moment.", "Something went wrong on our side and this did not go through. Nothing was changed. Quote a reference if you tell us about it." and "Telegram linking isn't configured yet."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

A temporary fault on the website, or the website was too busy to answer. Nothing was changed on your account.

  • How to fix it:

Try again in a minute. If it continues, send support the exact sentence, the reference if one is shown, and the time. You cannot fix this one yourself.

  • Where you see it:

The website, under the button you pressed on your account page or the connection screen.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You were signed out while the page was open. The page still looks signed in, but your request was not accepted.

  • How to fix it:

Sign in again, go back to the page and press the button once more.

"This account has been deleted."

  • Where you see it:

The website, under the Connect Telegram button.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The account's deletion was completed while a browser was still signed in to it. Nothing can be connected to a deleted account.

  • How to fix it:

If you asked for the deletion, there is nothing to do. If you did not expect it, open https://onflowads.com/support and tell our team.

"We couldn’t check your Telegram connection just now."

  • Where you see it:

Your account page, in the Telegram connection card, with a Try again button. The Connect Telegram button is hidden while this shows.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The card could not read your connection this time, usually because of a dropped connection. If your Telegram account was connected, it still is.

  • How to fix it:

Press Try again, or reload the page.

"That Telegram account is already connected to another Onflow Ads account, so it was not connected here."

  • Where you see it:

The Telegram connection card on your account page, and the connection screen, where the button changes to Try again. The sentence continues: "Sign in to that account instead, or write to [email protected] to have the two put together."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The bot refused the connection with its Already connected elsewhere card, and the page is passing that on. Nothing was connected here, and the other account is untouched.

  • How to fix it:

Follow the card "Already connected elsewhere" on this page. To connect a different Telegram account instead, switch accounts inside Telegram and press the button again.

"Your Telegram is linked, but the bot can't message you yet"

  • Where you see it:

Your account page, in the Telegram connection card, with the button Open the bot; the card can also name your Telegram account. The same sentence appears on Notifications → Settings.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You created or opened the account with Log in with Telegram and have never pressed Start in the bot's chat. Telegram lets a bot write to you only after you start it. Until then, Telegram messages to you are lost; the bell and email still carry them.

  • How to fix it:
    1. Press Open the bot on your account page.
    2. In Telegram, tap Start. If the bot also asks Connect this Telegram?, tapping Yes, connect it is safe.
    3. Go back to the website. The card turns green on its own.

"One more step: the bot works once you've joined"

  • Where you see it:

Your account page, in the Telegram connection card. The full line is "One more step: the bot works once you've joined the updates channel's @name — it will remind you in the chat too." The connection screen says "The bot works once you've joined our updates channel — join it here.", or names the channel: "The bot works once you've joined the updates channel's @name — join it here."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Your Telegram account has not been seen in the official updates channel yet. Nothing is blocked on the website, and notifications still arrive. The bot will show One quick step when you use its chat.

  • How to fix it:

Follow the link in the line and join the channel. Then tap I've joined in the bot's chat, or press Start there again. The line changes to say that the bot is fully unlocked.

The card still says "Not connected yet." after you confirmed in Telegram

  • Where you see it:

Your account page, in the Telegram connection card. On the connection screen the same problem shows as a line that keeps waiting: "In Telegram, tap Start, then Yes, connect it…"

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

There are several possible causes. Your browser blocked the new tab, so Telegram never opened. You tapped Start but not Yes, connect it. The bot stopped you at One quick step. You confirmed in a different Telegram account. Or the card stopped updating because a long time passed.

  • How to fix it:
    1. Open the bot's chat and read the last card it sent. Finish what it asks.
    2. If Telegram never opened, use the link Telegram didn’t open? Open it here.
    3. Switch to another browser tab and back, or reload the page, so the card reads your connection again.
    4. If it still is not connected, press Connect Telegram again. On the connection screen, press Reopen Telegram.

Every dashboard page opens "Connect Telegram to continue"

  • Where you see it:

The website. Any dashboard page, including Support, Wallet, Notifications and Reliability, opens a screen headed "Connect Telegram to continue" or "Add your email to continue".

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

An account needs both a connected Telegram account and a confirmed email address before the dashboard opens. Yours is missing one of them. Why Telegram and email are both required explains the rule and who it applies to.

  • How to fix it:

Complete the screen. The page you wanted is remembered and opens when you finish. Meanwhile your account page, the pricing page, the legal pages, the contact page and https://onflowads.com/support stay open to you.

"Connect your Telegram to continue."

  • Where you see it:

The website, as the error of a button that starts something new: creating a campaign, adding a channel, placing an order, joining a campaign, bidding or checking out. The other form is "Add your email address to continue."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You pressed the button on a page that was already open, with an account that has not finished connecting. The action was not carried out and nothing was charged. Replying to something you are already part of, such as approving a partner's post or cancelling, is never refused for this reason.

  • How to fix it:

Open https://onflowads.com/telegram/link, finish the screen, then repeat the action.

  • Where you see it:

The website, in the connection step of Subscriber Exchange, under its Connect Telegram button.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The page waited for your connection and stopped waiting before it saw one. Either nothing was connected yet, or you finished after the page stopped looking.

  • How to fix it:

If the bot already said Telegram connected, reload the page. Otherwise press the step's button again and finish in Telegram: tap Start, then Yes, connect it.

The website says you are in the updates channel but the bot still asks you to join

  • Where you see it:

The website shows a line that ends "the bot is fully unlocked.", while the bot's chat sends the One quick step card.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You joined the updates channel once and later left it. The website shows that you joined; the bot looks at your membership as it is now.

  • How to fix it:

Join the channel again with Join the channel, then tap I've joined. Your notifications kept arriving in the meantime.

The screen asks you to connect Telegram although it is already connected

  • Where you see it:

The connection screen, headed "Connect Telegram to continue" with the button Open Telegram and connect, on an account whose Telegram is already connected.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The page could not read which step your account is on, so it showed the Telegram step. An account made with Log in with Telegram needs the email step instead. Nothing changed on your account.

  • How to fix it:

Reload the page. If it now reads Add your email to continue, type your address and press Send me a code.

A button in a bot message opened the website

Buttons in bot messages are links to pages of the website. The first three cards apply only if the page opens inside Telegram itself and tries to sign you in. Buttons on the bot's current messages open ordinary pages instead, so you are unlikely to meet them.

"Couldn’t sign you in automatically."

  • Where you see it:

A page headed "Opening Onflow Ads…", if the website opens inside Telegram itself, with the link Continue anyway. Other forms are "Telegram couldn’t verify this session." and "Automatic sign-in isn’t configured on the site yet."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The page tried to sign you in with your Telegram account and could not. You are not signed in; nothing else changed. The page can print a more specific sentence instead, such as one about a suspended account or about new accounts being paused. That sentence is the reason.

  • How to fix it:

Tap Continue anyway and sign in the usual way, or open the page in your usual browser.

"This Telegram is already linked to another Onflow Ads account. Confirm to fold it into the account you are signed in to."

  • Where you see it:

The same opening page, if the website opens inside Telegram itself. Under the sentence you see "Linked to:" with that account's ID or name, and the buttons Yes, fold it into this account and No, keep them separate.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Your browser is signed in to one Onflow Ads account, and this Telegram account belongs to a second, empty one. Nothing has happened yet.

  • How to fix it:

Choose Yes, fold it into this account only if both accounts are yours. It moves the second account's content into the one you are signed in to and deletes the second account for good. No, keep them separate changes nothing.

"This Telegram is already linked to an Onflow Ads account that"

  • Where you see it:

The same opening page, with the link Continue with the signed-in account. The sentence ends in one of five ways: the other account "is suspended", "owes money", "holds funds", "still holds Subscriber Exchange or Boost credits", or "has a channel or listing in use that is also on the account you are signed in to". Most of them continue "so it cannot be folded into the one you are signed in to."; the last one continues "so the two cannot be folded automatically. Contact support with both accounts."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The two accounts cannot be put together automatically while the other one is in that state. Nothing was merged and no money moved; both accounts stay as they are.

  • How to fix it:

Do what the sentence asks on the other account: use the credits, withdraw or spend the balance, or settle what it owes. Then try again. For a suspended account or a shared channel or listing, write to support at https://onflowads.com/support with both OFA IDs.

A sign-in page opens after you press a button in a bot message

  • Where you see it:

The website's sign-in page, opened from a button in the bot's chat, such as Open Onflow Ads.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The button is an ordinary link. It opens in the browser Telegram uses for links, and that browser may not be signed in to Onflow Ads.

  • How to fix it:

Sign in there once, or open the link in your usual browser, where you are already signed in.

Adding your email address

These cards cover the screen headed Add your email to continue, which an account made with Log in with Telegram sees before the dashboard opens.

"Please enter a valid email address."

  • Where you see it:

The connection screen, under the address field, after pressing Send me a code. Two sister messages are "Please enter your email address." and "Please enter your own email address."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The field is empty, the text is not an email address, or the address is not one you can use for your own account. No code was sent.

  • How to fix it:

Type an address whose inbox you can open right now, then press Send me a code.

"That email already belongs to an Onflow Ads account."

  • Where you see it:

The connection screen, under the address field. The sentence continues: "If it is yours, sign out and sign in with that email instead — or enter a different address here." On the code step the short form is "That email is already in use."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Another Onflow Ads account already uses that address. Usually it is your own older account, made with email. You now have two accounts: that one, and this one made with Telegram. No code was sent and nothing changed.

  • How to fix it:
    1. To keep this account separate, enter a different address here.
    2. To use your older account instead, sign out and sign in with that email address.
    3. To have the two accounts put together, write to support at https://onflowads.com/support with both OFA IDs. Your Telegram account stays on this account until support moves it.

"This account already has a sign-in email."

  • Where you see it:

The connection screen, under the address field. The sentence continues: "If you need it changed, ask our team through the support chat — they can move it for you."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Your account already has an email address. The screen was left open in an old tab from before you added it.

  • How to fix it:

Reload the page; the dashboard opens. To change your sign-in email, ask our team at https://onflowads.com/support.

"We couldn't send the verification email. Please try again shortly."

  • Where you see it:

The connection screen, under the address field, after pressing Send me a code. The page's own short form is "Could not send the code. Please try again."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The email could not be sent this time. No code is on its way.

  • How to fix it:

Wait a few minutes, then press Send me a code once.

"Enter the 6-digit code."

  • Where you see it:

The code step of the connection screen, after pressing Confirm and continue. A longer form is "Enter the 6-digit code from your email."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The code field does not hold exactly six digits. Nothing was checked.

  • How to fix it:

Type the six digits from the newest email, with no spaces, and press Confirm and continue.

"Incorrect code. number attempts left."

  • Where you see it:

The code step of the connection screen. Before the last try it reads "Incorrect code. 1 attempt left." If the page cannot read the full answer it says "That code did not match. Please try again."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The code is wrong, or it comes from an older email after you asked for a new code. The address was not added, and one attempt was used.

  • How to fix it:

Use the code from the most recent email. If you are not sure which one that is, press Send a new code and use the code that arrives.

"Too many incorrect codes. For your security this is locked for 6 hours."

  • Where you see it:

The code step of the connection screen. Two sister messages are "Too many attempts. For your security this is locked for a few hours." and "Too many attempts. Try again in a few hours."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Too many wrong codes were entered, or too many requests were made. The code step is locked for a while. Your account, its Telegram connection and everything on it are untouched.

  • How to fix it:

Wait for the time the message states. Then start again: type your address and press Send me a code. Account limits and lockouts explains what a lock does and does not affect.

"Your verification session expired. Please sign up again."

  • Where you see it:

The code step of the connection screen, after pressing Confirm and continue or Send a new code.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The code step stayed open too long, or you opened it in another browser. The address you were adding was dropped; nothing changed on your account. The message mentions signing up because other pages share it.

  • How to fix it:

You do not need a new account. Press Use a different address or reload the page, type your address again and press Send me a code.

"That code expired. Tap “Resend code” to get a new one."

  • Where you see it:

The code step of the connection screen, after pressing Confirm and continue.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

A code works for a short time only, and you entered this one too late. The code step is still open and no attempt was used.

  • How to fix it:

On this screen the button the message means is Send a new code. Press it, then enter the code from the newest email.

"Please wait numbers before requesting another code."

  • Where you see it:

The code step of the connection screen, after pressing Send a new code. The number is a count of seconds. If the page cannot read the full answer it says "Could not send a new code. Please try again."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You asked for another code too soon after the last one. No new code was sent, and the last code still works until it expires.

  • How to fix it:

Wait the seconds shown, then press Send a new code once. When it works, the page says "A new code is on the way. Check your inbox."

"You've requested too many codes. Please start again."

  • Where you see it:

The code step of the connection screen, after pressing Send a new code.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You asked for more new codes than one code step allows. The step was closed, and every code already sent stopped working. Nothing changed on your account.

  • How to fix it:

Press Use a different address or reload the page, type your address again and press Send me a code. Check your spam folder before you ask for another code.

The code never arrives

  • Where you see it:

Your inbox stays empty while the connection screen says "We sent a 6-digit code to" followed by your address, partly hidden.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The address has a typing mistake, the email went to spam, or your mail service is slow. Nothing changed on your account.

  • How to fix it:
    1. Look in your spam folder for an email whose subject starts "Your Onflow Ads email confirmation code".
    2. Press Send a new code and wait a minute.
    3. If nothing comes, press Use a different address and type the address again, letter by letter.

"Add your email address first, then choose again."

  • Where you see it:

The website, as the error shown when you choose advertiser or channel owner in the marketplace. The sentence continues: "We confirm this choice with a code sent to your email." The page does not move on by itself.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Your account was made with Log in with Telegram and has no email address yet. That choice is confirmed by an emailed code, so the address comes first. The choice was not saved.

  • How to fix it:

Open https://onflowads.com/telegram/link and add your email address there. Then go back and choose again.

Log in with Telegram

These messages appear in the message box of the sign-in page after you press Log in with Telegram. None of them changes anything on any account. The steps are on Log in with Telegram and what the bot still needs.

"Telegram sign-in isn’t available right now."

  • Where you see it:

The sign-in page at https://onflowads.com/signin, after pressing Log in with Telegram. Inside Telegram the wording can be "Telegram sign-in is not configured."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Telegram sign-in is not being offered at the moment, either for everyone or for people who do not have an account yet. You were not signed in.

  • How to fix it:

Sign in another way: email and password, or Google or Apple where the page shows them. Try Telegram again later.

"Telegram sign-in was cancelled."

  • Where you see it:

The sign-in page, after you return from Telegram's confirmation.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You declined Telegram's confirmation, or closed it before confirming.

  • How to fix it:

Press Log in with Telegram again and confirm when Telegram asks.

"Your Telegram sign-in session expired — please try again."

  • Where you see it:

The sign-in page, after you return from Telegram's confirmation.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

You took too long to confirm, or you finished in a different browser from the one you started in. It also happens when you reload the page you came back to, or when your browser blocks cookies.

  • How to fix it:

Press Log in with Telegram again and finish within a few minutes, in the same browser. If it keeps happening, allow cookies for onflowads.com.

"We couldn’t reach Telegram to finish signing in. Please try again."

  • Where you see it:

The sign-in page, after you confirm in Telegram. Three sister messages are "Telegram couldn’t complete the sign-in. Please try again in a moment.", "We couldn’t verify your Telegram sign-in. Please try again." and "We couldn’t complete Telegram sign-in. Please try again."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Something went wrong between the website and Telegram after you confirmed. It is not something you did, and you are not signed in.

  • How to fix it:

Try again in a minute. If it happens again, sign in another way and tell support the exact sentence and the time.

"This sign-in was used on an account deleted less than 48 hours ago. To protect that deletion, it can’t open a new account until the 48 hours have passed."

  • Where you see it:

The sign-in page of the website, in the red message box above the Sign in button, after you confirm in Telegram.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

This Telegram account belonged to an Onflow Ads account that was deleted a short while ago. No new account was created.

  • How to fix it:

Wait until the time named in the message has passed, then press Log in with Telegram again.

"Your account has been suspended."

  • Where you see it:

The sign-in page, after pressing Log in with Telegram. The other form is "Your account is suspended. Please try again later."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

The account this Telegram account belongs to is suspended. No sign-in method works while the suspension stands.

  • How to fix it:

Open https://onflowads.com/support and write to our team with your OFA ID. A suspension with an end date ends by itself. See Account standing and restrictions.

There is no Log in with Telegram button

  • Where you see it:

The sign-in page and the sign-up page, where the other sign-in buttons are shown and this one is missing.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Telegram sign-in is not being offered at the moment. The button appears only while it is.

  • How to fix it:

Sign in with email and password, or with Google or Apple where the page shows them.

You are asked for an authentication code after confirming in Telegram

  • Where you see it:

The sign-in page's code step: "Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app — or a recovery code if you've lost your device." If the website opened inside Telegram, you are taken to the same code step.

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Two-factor authentication is on for your account. Confirming in Telegram is one step; the code is the second. You are not signed in until you enter it.

  • How to fix it:

Enter the current code from your authenticator app, or a recovery code. Two-factor authentication covers lost devices and recovery codes.

You signed in and see "Add your email to continue"

  • Where you see it:

The website, straight after Log in with Telegram, on an account that looks empty although you already have an Onflow Ads account. The screen reads "Your Telegram is already connected. Add an email address so we have a second way to reach you — we'll send a 6-digit code to confirm it."

  • Plans affected:

    Every plan.

  • Why it happens:

Your existing account was made with email, and this Telegram account is not connected to it. So Log in with Telegram opened a second, new Free account with nothing on it. Your original account is untouched.

  • How to fix it:
    1. Do not type your existing email address here. It belongs to your original account and will be refused.
    2. Sign out, then sign in to your original account with its email address.
    3. Open https://onflowads.com/support and ask our team to put the two accounts together. Quote both OFA IDs.
    4. After that, connect Telegram from your account page.

Still stuck?

Open https://onflowads.com/support. It starts the support chat whether or not you are signed in, and it is the fastest way to reach us. The bot's own Contact support button needs an account that has finished connecting, so use the address if that button sends you to the connection screen.

Tell us:

  • what you were doing, and which button you pressed last
  • the exact message, copied word for word
  • whether you saw it in the bot's chat or on the website
  • your OFA ID, shown on your account page
  • the date and time it happened
