Error message index

This page lists the messages you can meet anywhere on the website, in the installed app or on a page opened from the bot. Find the message you see; if it is not here, the table at the end sends you to the page for the area you were in.

None of these messages takes money from your wallet. Where an action did not go through, nothing was charged for it.

You are signed out, or your session ended

These messages mean the website no longer knows who you are on this device, so it has stopped before doing anything. Sign in again and repeat the action. Staying signed in and signing out explains when a session ends.

  • Where you see it: Under a button or a form on any signed-in page of the website, after you press something. Some pages word it "Sign in to continue." or "Please sign in."
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: Your session on this device has ended. It ended after a period of inactivity, you signed out in another tab, or someone used Sign out other devices on your account. Switching on two-factor authentication also signs out your other devices.
  • How to fix it: Sign in again and repeat the action. Nothing was changed by the refused attempt. Text you had typed into a form is not sent for you, so copy long text before you leave the page.

"Your sign-in expired. Please sign in again."

  • Where you see it: The sign-in page, on the step that asks for your authenticator code. Sign-up and password reset have their own wording: "Your verification session expired. Please sign up again." and "Your reset session expired. Please start again."
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: You began signing in, signing up or resetting your password and left the next step unfinished for too long. The half-finished attempt was closed for your safety.
  • How to fix it: Start that task again from its first step and finish it in one go. Use the newest code you were sent. Your account and your password are unchanged. Troubleshooting signing in and passwords covers each sign-in message.

"You’re signed out — sign in to see notifications."

  • Where you see it: The pop-up that opens when you press the bell in the top bar. After you press a notification, the same pop-up can read "You’re signed out — sign in again first."
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: Your session ended while the page stayed open, so the bell can no longer read your notifications.
  • How to fix it: Follow the sign in link in the message and sign in. Your notifications are all still there. One you had pressed was not marked as read, so open it again.

A dashboard address opens the sign-in page

  • Where you see it: The browser, after you open a bookmark, a link from an email, or a typed address for a signed-in page such as your wallet.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: You are not signed in on this browser, and that page belongs to an account. The website asks you to sign in first.
  • How to fix it: Sign in. You are then taken to the page you asked for. If a setup step opens instead, such as connecting Telegram, finish it first; Troubleshooting Getting started covers those steps.

The top bar shows Sign in although you are signed in

  • Where you see it: The bar across the top of any page, which shows Sign in and Get started where your account should be. The opposite can also happen: your account shows after you signed out elsewhere.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The page could not confirm who is signed in, usually because the connection dropped for a moment, or your session ended in another tab. The bar is showing the last state it knew.
  • How to fix it: Reload the page. If the bar still shows Sign in, sign in again. Nothing on your account changed.

Too many attempts

The website limits how often one action can be repeated in a short time, to keep accounts and the site safe. The message tells you how long to wait. Account limits and lockouts describes the limits on signing in and on codes.

"Too many attempts. Please wait a minute and try again."

  • Where you see it: Under a form or a button anywhere on the website, and in the support panel. Two longer forms exist: "Too many attempts. Please wait a few minutes and try again." and "Too many attempts. Please try again in an hour."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The same action was repeated several times in a short period. Seeing this message does not mean you did anything wrong.
  • How to fix it: Stop, wait for as long as the message says, then try once. Pressing again while you wait does not help, and the wait can be longer than the message suggests if it repeats. This attempt was not carried out and nothing was charged.

"Too many requests — try again in a minute."

  • Where you see it: The bell's pop-up in the top bar, after Mark all read or after opening a notification. The form on Get the guide says "Too many requests. Please try again later." A page opened from the bot says "Too many requests. Please slow down and try again shortly." under Temporarily unavailable.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: Too many requests of one kind arrived in a short time. The website stops answering them for a short while.
  • How to fix it: Wait a minute, then try once. For a page opened from the bot, reload it or open the link from Telegram again. Your notifications and your campaign are not affected.

The site is busy

These messages appear when the website has more to do than it can handle at that moment, or when the same press arrived twice. They are about load, not about your account, and they clear by themselves.

"The site is very busy right now and this did not go through. Nothing was changed. Please try again in a few seconds."

  • Where you see it: Under a button or a form on any page, straight after you press something.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: Far more people were using the website than it could serve at that moment. Your action was turned away before anything was done.
  • How to fix it: Wait a few seconds and press the button again. As the message says, nothing was changed, so repeating the action is safe.

"The site is busy right now and this did not go through. Please try again in a moment."

  • Where you see it: Under a button or a form on any page, usually after a longer wait than normal.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: Your action waited for its turn and ran out of time before the website could carry it out.
  • How to fix it: Wait a moment and try again. The action was not carried out. If it keeps happening, open the status page to see whether the team has posted a notice.

"This is already going through from another window. Give it a moment, then refresh."

  • Where you see it: Under a button on any page, after the same action was sent twice at almost the same time, for example from two tabs or by a double press.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The first copy of the action is still being carried out. The website refuses the second copy so the same thing is not done twice.
  • How to fix it: Wait a moment, then refresh the page and look at the result before you do anything else. The action runs once. Repeat it only if the refreshed page shows it did not happen.

A button shows a spinner and ignores further presses

  • Where you see it: Any button on the website, straight after you press it. A small spinner turns on the button and pressing it again does nothing.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The button is busy until the website answers. This stops one press from being sent twice.
  • How to fix it: Wait for the answer. The action runs once. If the spinner is still turning after a long wait, check your connection, reload the page and look at the result before you press again.

Something went wrong

These are the messages a page shows when it has nothing more specific to tell you. In each case the action did not go through and nothing of yours was changed.

"Something went wrong on our side and this did not go through. Nothing was changed."

  • Where you see it: Under a button or a form on any page. The message ends by asking you to quote a reference, which starts with OFE- and is followed by eight characters.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: An unexpected fault on our side stopped the action. It is not something you did.
  • How to fix it: Try once more. If it happens again, copy the reference exactly as shown and send it to the team through onflowads.com/support, with what you were doing. The reference lets the team find the fault itself.

"This feature is temporarily unavailable. Please try again shortly."

  • Where you see it: Under a button or a form on any page. The sentence sometimes carries a few extra words in the middle; it means the same thing.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: A part of the website that this action needs could not be reached for a moment. The action was not carried out.
  • How to fix it: Wait a minute and try again. If it repeats, open the status page and read the headline and any notice. Nothing was changed, so trying again is safe.

"Something went wrong. Please try again."

  • Where you see it: Under a form on pages such as sign-in, sign-up, the contact form and password reset. Some pages word it "That didn’t go through — please try again."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The website refused the action and gave the page no reason to show you.
  • How to fix it: Reload the page and try once more. If the same action fails twice on a working connection, contact the team with the page address and any reference shown on the item, such as an order or campaign ID.

A short message that no troubleshooting page lists

  • Where you see it: Any page of the website or the support panel, as a short line under a button, under a form or in a notice. It usually follows a page left open for a long time, a button pressed twice, or an old link.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: What you pressed no longer matched the page as it is now. The step had already finished, the item had changed, or the page was out of date. The website refused the repeat and changed nothing.
  • How to fix it: Reload the page so it shows today's state, then repeat the action once. If you were signed out meanwhile, sign in first. If the same line returns, copy it word for word and send it through onflowads.com/support, with the page you were on and the time.

"Network error — please try again."

  • Where you see it: Under a button or a form on any page. A longer form reads "Network error — please check your connection and try again."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: Your request never reached the website, or the answer never came back. The connection dropped, timed out, or something on your device blocked it.
  • How to fix it: Check your connection and try again. If a content blocker or a VPN is on, pause it for onflowads.com. Where money is involved, look at the result on the page before repeating, so you do not do the same thing twice.

"We couldn’t load your account just now. Reload the page in a moment to try again."

  • Where you see it: A notice on a dashboard page, in place of your account details.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The page could not read your account for a moment. You are still signed in, which is why you were not sent to the sign-in page.
  • How to fix it: Wait a moment and reload the page. You do not need to sign in again. If it stays, open the status page.

"A number, date or piece of text in this request is not one we can use"

  • Where you see it: Under a form, after you save or submit it. The full line adds that the value is too large or not a real date, so it did not go through. Many forms instead mark the boxes and say "Please fix the highlighted fields and try again."
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: One of the values you entered cannot be saved, such as a number far too large or a date that does not exist.
  • How to fix it: Correct the value and submit the form again. Each marked box carries its own short line that says what is wrong with it. Nothing was saved from the refused attempt.

The request was blocked

These messages mean the website refused a request before it reached your account. Nothing was changed. For the last two, the page gives no reason, and this guide does not give one either.

"This request came from another website, so it was blocked. Reload the page and try again."

  • Where you see it: Under a button or a form, after you press something on a page that has been open for a long time or was not loaded from onflowads.com.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The website accepts actions only from its own pages. A saved copy of a page, a page shown inside another site, or a browser extension that rewrites pages can make your action look as if it came from elsewhere.
  • How to fix it: Reload the page at onflowads.com and repeat the action from the page itself. If it returns, switch off extensions that change web pages and try again.

"Access denied."

  • Where you see it: A blank page that shows only these two words, in place of any page of the website.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The website refused the request before it reached any account. The page does not say why, and nothing on your account has changed.
  • How to fix it: Write to [email protected]. Give the time you saw the page, and the email address of your account if you have one. A person can lift it.

"403 — automated access to this site is disabled."

  • Where you see it: A plain page with only this line, in place of any page of the website.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The website treated the request as coming from an automated tool, not from a person using a browser. Automated access to the site is not allowed.
  • How to fix it: Open the site in an ordinary, up-to-date browser, and switch off any extension or tool that browses for you. If you want to place Boost orders from your own software, use the Boost API on a plan that includes it.

The security check

Some forms ask Onflow Security to confirm that a real person is sending them. You may be asked on forms such as sign-in, sign-up and the contact form. In the support panel only signed-out visitors are asked, so signing in avoids it there. Nothing is sent until the check passes.

"Please complete the security check and try again."

  • Where you see it: Under a form such as sign-in, sign-up or the contact form, or in the support chat when you are signed out. It can also read "The security check didn't pass. Please try again." Where a page has no check of its own, a dialog titled Onflow Security check opens first, with a Cancel button.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The form arrived without a finished check. You closed the dialog, pressed Cancel, or the check was refused.
  • How to fix it: Press the button again and let the check finish. It usually takes a second, and the row reads "Browser verified" when it has passed. If the row reads "Confirm you are human", tick the box below it.

"The security check did not load"

  • Where you see it: The security check row on a form, with the line "Check your connection. If you use a content blocker, pause it for this page."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The check could not be loaded into the page. Your connection dropped, or a content blocker stopped it.
  • How to fix it: Check your connection, pause your content blocker for this page, and reload. Then send the form again.

"The security check could not start"

  • Where you see it: The security check row on a form, with the line "Your device clock looks wrong. Set the date and time to automatic."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The date or time on your device is far from the real one, and the check cannot run with a wrong clock.
  • How to fix it: Open your device's date and time settings and set them to automatic. Reload the page and send the form again.

"This browser cannot run the security check"

  • Where you see it: The security check row on a form, with the line "Update your browser, or open this page in another one."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The browser is too old for the check, or it is a built-in browser inside another app that lacks what the check needs.
  • How to fix it: Update your browser, or open the same page in another browser such as Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. Then send the form again.

"The security check did not pass"

  • Where you see it: The security check row on a form, with the line "Try again. If it keeps happening, switch networks or turn off your VPN." A different row, "The security check is unavailable", adds "This is a problem on our side and we have been told. Please try again shortly."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The check ran and was not accepted for this attempt. When the row says the check is unavailable, the fault is ours and not yours.
  • How to fix it: Try again. If it keeps failing, switch to another network or turn off your VPN. For "unavailable", wait a few minutes; if your question is urgent, email [email protected].

Maintenance and paused sections

The team sometimes pauses the whole website, or one section of it, for planned work. Nothing of yours is changed by a pause, and orders and campaigns already running carry on. Maintenance and paused sections has the full picture.

Diagram Three pages are easy to mix up. The maintenance page means we paused something, the offline page means your own connection dropped, and "Status unavailable" only means the status page got no answer. Each one needs a different step from you.

"We're tuning things up"

  • Where you see it: A full page in place of any page of the website, under the label Maintenance in progress. It says Onflow Ads will be back in a few minutes and shows a rotating quote while you wait. The browser tab is titled "We'll be right back — Onflow Ads". In rare cases you see one plain line instead: "We'll be right back — maintenance in progress."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The whole website is paused for planned work. Your account, your balance and your running campaigns are not changed by it.
  • How to fix it: Leave the tab open. The page watches for the end of the work and brings you back by itself. If your question is urgent, write to [email protected], the address shown on the page.

"This part of Onflow Ads is paused for maintenance and will be back in a few minutes. Everything else is working."

  • Where you see it: The maintenance page, shown in place of one section of the website. The sentence ends with a Go to Onflow Ads link.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: Only the section you opened is paused. The rest of the website is working normally.
  • How to fix it: Follow Go to Onflow Ads and use the rest of the site. Come back to the paused section later. The status page names the areas that are paused.

"This section is in maintenance mode — please check back shortly."

  • Where you see it: An error line or a notice on a page that was already open, after you press a button.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The section was paused while you had the page open, so your action was not carried out. Nothing was charged or saved.
  • How to fix it: Wait a few minutes and repeat the action. When the section is back, check anything you had left half-finished before you repeat it.

The maintenance page never reconnects

  • Where you see it: The maintenance page, which stays on screen long after you expected the site to return. When the work has ended you normally see "Back online — reconnecting…" and the page reloads.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The work is still going on, the tab was in the background and stopped watching, or your connection dropped.
  • How to fix it: Bring the tab to the front and reload it once. Check your connection. If the page is still there, open the status page for the current state.

You paid, then the maintenance page appeared

  • Where you see it: The maintenance page, right after you finished a payment on the payment page and were sent back to the website.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The site was paused between the moment you paid and the moment you returned. A payment that was already made is still received during maintenance.
  • How to fix it: Do not pay again. Wait for the site to return, then open your wallet page and check the balance and the history. If the payment is not there, open onflowads.com/support and send the amount, the time and the payment method.

Text typed into a form is gone after maintenance

  • Where you see it: A form you were filling in before a pause began, which is empty once the site is back and the page has reloaded.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: Text in a form that has not been sent or saved exists only in the page. A reload clears it.
  • How to fix it: Type it again. Before you reload a page that holds a long message, copy the text somewhere safe. Anything you had already sent or saved is still there.

"This page is getting a quick tune-up"

  • Where you see it: A page opened from the bot, such as the page behind an ad's button or the live campaign tracker. A page of this kind that was already open can instead say "This section is briefly down for maintenance. Please try again in a few minutes." under Temporarily unavailable.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: That page is paused for brief maintenance. The bot's chat itself keeps working.
  • How to fix it: Leave the page open; it refreshes on its own. You can also open it again from the bot a minute later. Nothing is lost.

The status page

The status page shows the health of the platform as a whole in three rows. It cannot see one account, one order or your own browser. The system status page explains every row.

"Status unavailable"

  • Where you see it: The headline of the status page, with the line "We couldn't reach the status service. Please retry shortly." The three rows are empty.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The page asked for the current status and got no answer. Your connection may have dropped, or the site was too busy to answer at that moment. It is not Onflow Ads declaring itself down.
  • How to fix it: Leave the page open; it tries again by itself. If the headline does not change, check your connection or open the page on another network.

"Some systems are degraded"

  • Where you see it: The headline of the status page, with the line "We're aware and working on it."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: At least one row reads Down, Degraded or Posting Paused. The team already knows.
  • How to fix it: You do not need to report it. Expect actions in the affected area to fail for now, and repeat anything that failed once the headline is green again.

"Scheduled maintenance"

  • Where you see it: The headline of the status page, with the line "The site is closed for planned work and will be back shortly." When only part of the site is paused the headline reads "Some areas are in maintenance" and names the paused areas.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The team has paused the whole site, or the named areas, for planned work.
  • How to fix it: Wait. If only some areas are paused, use the rest of the site and return to the paused area later. If the whole site is paused and your question is urgent, write to [email protected].

The Telegram bot row reads Not Monitored or Posting Paused

  • Where you see it: The third row of the status page.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: Not Monitored means the page has no reading for the bot, which is not a fault. Posting Paused means the bot is running but the team has paused what it posts.
  • How to fix it: For Not Monitored, open the bot in Telegram and send it a message to see that it answers. For Posting Paused there is nothing to do: posts that are due go out when the pause ends.

"Checking status…" never changes

  • Where you see it: The headline of the status page, long after the page opened.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The page could not take its first reading. A browser extension or setting is stopping the page from working, or the connection stalled while it loaded.
  • How to fix it: Reload the page. If the headline still does not change, open the page in another browser, or in a private window with extensions switched off.

Every row is green but something is still wrong for you

  • Where you see it: The status page reads All systems operational while a page, an order or a payment of yours is not working.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The status page reports the platform as a whole. It cannot see your account, your order, your payment or your browser.
  • How to fix it: Use the table at the end of this page to find the troubleshooting page for the area you were in. If that does not solve it, contact the team with the page address and the exact message.

A dark-red strip runs across the top of every page

  • Where you see it: Across the top of the website's pages. It carries a short message from the team and cannot be closed. It is not shown when you open the website inside Telegram.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The team has posted a notice about something that is affecting the platform. The same words appear on the status page.
  • How to fix it: Read it. There is nothing to do unless the notice says so. The strip goes away when the team removes the notice.

A pause in emails and bot messages

For short periods the team can pause the emails and bot messages that Onflow Ads sends. A pause never cancels a campaign, an order or a payment, and nothing is refunded or charged because of one.

"We couldn't send the verification email. Please try again shortly."

  • Where you see it: The page where you asked for an email or a code. Other pages word it "We couldn't send the code just now — try again shortly." or begin "We couldn't send the confirmation email right now."
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: Sending was paused or failed at that moment. That email or code was not sent, and it will not arrive later.
  • How to fix it: Wait a few minutes and ask for it again from the same page. If it repeats, open the status page and look for a notice. Use only the newest code you receive.

The bot does not answer, or a scheduled post arrives late

  • Where you see it: Your chat with the bot in Telegram, which stays silent after a message or a button press. In your channel, a scheduled post goes out late, or a post that was due to come down stays up a little longer.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The bot is paused or restarting. Scheduled posts and alerts wait for the pause to end. A reply to a message you sent during a pause may not be sent at all.
  • How to fix it: Wait a minute, then send the message or press the button once more. You do not need to do anything about a late post. If the bot stays silent, check the Telegram bot row of the status page.

Offline, and pages that cannot be found

These two pages mean the website was not reached, or the address leads nowhere. Neither one changes anything on your account.

"You're offline"

  • Where you see it: A full page shown by your own browser or by the installed app, with the line "We can't reach Onflow Ads right now. Check your connection and try again — your work isn't lost." Inside an open page the same problem can read "You appear to be offline. Check your connection and try again."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: Your device could not load the page from the internet. The offline page comes from your device, not from us.
  • How to fix it: Check your connection and press Try again. If your connection works for other sites, open the status page from another network.

"This page drifted off the grid."

  • Where you see it: A page with a large "404" and the line "The link may be broken or the page may have moved. Let us get you back on track."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: The address does not match any page of the website. A link was mistyped or cut short, or the page has moved.
  • How to fix it: Check the address for a missing or extra character. Press Back home or Explore Telegram and go to the page from the menu. A removed listing or an expired campaign cannot be reopened from its old link.

An upload was refused

Every picture or file you upload is checked for size and type before it is kept. A refused upload attaches nothing, and the picture that was there before stays in place.

"That file is too large."

  • Where you see it: The notice that slides in after you choose a file. Most pages name the limit, for example "That image is over the limit MB limit. Please upload a smaller one."
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The file is bigger than that upload allows. The limit differs from one upload to another, and it is printed next to the button you use to choose the file.
  • How to fix it: Read the limit next to the upload button. Crop the picture, lower its resolution or save it again at a smaller size, then upload it again.

"Please upload a JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF image."

  • Where you see it: The notice that slides in after you choose a file. Other pages word it "That file is not an image." or say the file "doesn't look like a supported image".
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The file is not one of the types that upload accepts. Renaming a file does not change its type. Telegram also refuses pictures that are extremely large or very long and thin.
  • How to fix it: Save the picture again as JPG, PNG or WebP and upload that copy. The accepted types are printed next to the upload button. Whether an ad post may carry video depends on your plan; see Comparing the six plans.

"Upload failed — please try again."

  • Where you see it: The notice that slides in after you choose a file. Related lines are "Upload failed — check your connection and try again." and "That upload timed out — try again."
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The upload did not finish. The connection dropped or was too slow, or the website refused the file without giving a reason.
  • How to fix it: Check your connection and upload the file again. On a slow connection, use a smaller file. If the same file fails twice on a good connection, save it again in another accepted type.

Installing and updating the app

Onflow Ads can be installed as an app from your browser, and the installed app updates itself from the same menu entry. Nothing on the website is locked behind installing it. Installing Onflow Ads as an app has the steps.

There is no Install app entry

  • Where you see it: The account menu on a computer, the menu on a phone and the page footers, where the Install app entry is missing.
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: Your browser cannot install apps from a web page, or the app is already installed and you are looking at an ordinary browser tab. The entry is also absent when you open Onflow Ads from the bot, inside Telegram.
  • How to fix it: Open onflowads.com in Chrome, Edge or Safari. If the app is already installed, open it from its icon. You can also carry on in a tab; everything works there.

The entry reads Open in browser

  • Where you see it: The menu or a page footer, when the website is open inside Telegram's or another app's built-in browser. Pressing it opens a dialog titled "Open Onflow Ads in your browser".
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: Apps can only be installed from a full browser, not from inside another app.
  • How to fix it: Press Copy link and paste the link into Chrome or Safari, or press Open browser on Android. Then install the app from there. If you see "Press and hold the link to copy it.", hold the link shown in the dialog and copy it by hand.

"No Add to Home Screen in the list? Open onflowads.com in Safari and try again."

  • Where you see it: The short guide that opens when you press Install app on an iPhone or an iPad. In Safari on a Mac the guide instead says "Add to Dock needs macOS Sonoma or newer. On an older Mac, Chrome or Edge can install the app instead."
  • Plans affected: Every plan, and signed-out visitors.
  • Why it happens: Safari gives websites no install prompt, so the guide shows the two steps to take yourself. The option it names is missing in other browsers and on older systems.
  • How to fix it: Open onflowads.com in Safari and follow the two steps, then press Got it. On an older Mac, install the app from Chrome or Edge instead.

"Could not check for updates. Check your connection and try again."

  • Where you see it: The installed app, after you press Check for updates in the menu.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: Checking for a new version needs a connection, and the app could not reach the website.
  • How to fix it: Reconnect and press Check for updates again. The version you have keeps working in the meantime.

The label stays on "Updating…"

  • Where you see it: The menu of the installed app, for a few seconds after you press Update app.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: The new version is taking over. The app then reloads by itself and shows the notice App updated.
  • How to fix it: Wait. Pressing the entry again does nothing more. If no App updated notice follows, press Check for updates once the app has reloaded.

Safari keeps showing Install app after you installed it

  • Where you see it: The menu in Safari, and the reminder card Get the Onflow Ads app on the dashboard, after you added the app to your Home Screen or Dock.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: After you add the app from Safari, the browser tab still offers it. Separately, if you dismissed your browser's own install prompt, nothing was installed and the entry may disappear for a while.
  • How to fix it: Ignore the entry and open the app from its icon. Press Not now on the reminder card to hide it; it may return later. After a dismissed prompt, reload the page later and the browser offers the app again.

An app shortcut opens the sign-in page

  • Where you see it: The installed app, after you choose one of its shortcuts, such as Wallet, from the app's icon.
  • Plans affected: Every plan.
  • Why it happens: Your session on this device has ended, and the shortcut leads to a page that belongs to your account.
  • How to fix it: Sign in. You are then taken to the page the shortcut was for.

Still stuck?

Open onflowads.com/support to reach the team. It is the fastest way to reach support, and the route to a person is never limited by your plan. During whole-site maintenance, write to [email protected] instead. Include these four things so the team can help on the first reply:

  • What you were doing, and on which page.
  • The exact message, copied word for word, or a screenshot of it.
  • Any reference shown on screen: the one that starts with OFE-, or the ID of the order, campaign or conversation.
  • The time it happened, with your time zone.

Never send a password, a sign-in code or card details. The team does not ask for them. Help and support lists every way to reach us.
