Careers at Onflow Ads
Onflow Ads lists the roles it is hiring for on its careers site, jobs.onflowads.com. Each role has its own page, and you apply for it with one step-by-step form.
Applying does not depend on a plan. You do not need an Onflow Ads account, and applying is free.
Where to find the open rolesβ
The careers site is at jobs.onflowads.com. You can also open it with the Careers link in the footer of the website and of this guide. Every link to onflowads.com/careers takes you to the same page on jobs.onflowads.com.
Its front page lists every open role as a card. A card shows the role's title, where the work is done, such as Remote, a one-line summary and its key duties. Press See the role to read more, or Apply to start the form.
A role's page describes the work in sections such as What you'll do, Your first 90 days, Who we're looking for, How we work and How we hire. When no role is open, the front page says "There are no open roles right now. Please check this page again later."
A role that has closed keeps its page, marked Closed, with the line "This role is closed. It is not taking applications right now."
What you need before you startβ
- About 8β10 minutes.
- An email address. Your confirmation email is sent there.
- Your Telegram username.
- Your CV as one PDF file of up to 10 MB, not locked with a password.
One form can apply for up to four roles. You mark one of them as your main choice.
Applying, step by stepβ
The form has 12 short steps with a progress bar, then a review of everything. Nothing is sent to us until you press Send application on the review.
- On a role's page, press Apply for this role, or press Apply on its card. The form opens with that role picked.
- Answer each step and press Next. Every question needs an answer, unless it says "optional". An answer that needs a fix is marked under its box.
- On step 12, tick the two boxes. A short security check runs there too. If it asks you to tick a box, tick it. Wait until it says "Browser verified. Protected by Onflow Security."
- Press Review your answers. The review shows everything you are about to send. Press Edit beside a part to change it.
- Press Send application.
| Step | What it asks |
|---|---|
| 1. About you | Your full name, that you are 18 or older (or the age of adulthood where you live, if that is higher), your country and your time zone. Your age and your city are optional. |
| 2. Contact | Your email address, your Telegram username, a WhatsApp or phone number if you want to give one, and the best way to reach you. |
| 3. Languages | Each language you can work in, with your level. |
| 4. The role | The roles you are applying for, and which one is your main choice. |
| 5. Experience and availability | Your years of relevant experience, your situation now, your earliest start date, the hours a week you can give, and the hours you could be online in India time. |
| 6. Role questions | A few questions for each role you picked, and one question about a real task for your main choice. |
| 7. You and Telegram | How well you know Telegram channels and ads, whether you have used Onflow Ads, and how you heard about us. |
| 8. Pay expectations | The pay you hope for each month, its currency, and how you would like to be paid. |
| 9. Links (optional) | Links that show your work, such as a portfolio or writing samples. |
| 10. Motivation | Why Onflow Ads, and why your main choice, in your own words: at least 150 characters. |
| 11. Your CV | Your CV as a PDF file. |
| 12. Consent | That you have read the careers privacy notice, and that your answers are true. |
The roles do not list pay. The form asks what you expect only to help plan. In the form's own words: "Your answer is not a job offer. It is not a promise from you or from us."
Your draft stays on your deviceβ
While you fill in the form, your answers are saved in your browser, on your device. They are not sent to us until you press Send application.
- Come back later in the same browser and the form asks: "Welcome back. Your answers are saved on this device. Do you want to continue from where you stopped?" Press Continue to carry on. To clear the answers, press Start again, then Yes, start again.
- Your CV is never saved in the draft. Add it again when you come back.
- The draft is cleared when you send your application, or when you press Start again, then Yes, start again. A draft left untouched for more than 30 days is cleared the next time you open the form.
- If your browser cannot keep a draft, the form says "Your browser is not saving a draft. Please finish the form now, without closing this page."
On a shared computer, send the form in one go. If you have to stop, reload the page, press Start again, then Yes, start again. This clears your answers from the computer, so the next person cannot see them.
Your CVβ
Add your CV on step 11: one PDF file of up to 10 MB. On a computer, drag it onto the box or click the box to choose it. On a phone, tap the box. Replace and Remove change it.
The form checks that the file really is a PDF. In the form's own words: "Apart from that check, our website does not open your CV. It only passes it on to our hiring team."
The form refuses a file that is not a PDF, is damaged, is locked with a password, is empty or is over 10 MB. A line under the box says why.
After you press Sendβ
- The thank-you page opens. It shows the roles you applied for, your reference number and the address your confirmation email is going to.
- A confirmation email arrives, titled "We received your application for" and the name of your main role. If you cannot find it, check your spam folder.
- We review your application. If your experience fits the role, we contact you by email or Telegram. Then come a short call, a small trial task and our decision. The trial task can be paid or unpaid, and we tell you which before you start.
We do not give fixed dates for these steps. Keep your reference number, and add it when you write to us.
Stay safeβ
The careers site says it plainly: "Applying is free, and we never ask applicants to pay anything. No one from Onflow Ads will ever ask you for a password or a login code. If a message about your application asks for money, a password or a code, it is not from us. When we write about your application, we use your reference number."
If you are not sure that a message is really from us, write to support@onflowads.com before you answer it, and add your reference number.
Your information and the privacy noticeβ
- Your answers and your CV are emailed to our hiring team, who read them in our careers inbox. Once that email is sent, the copy on our website is deleted.
- If the email cannot be delivered within 14 days, your application and your CV are deleted.
- Our website does not show applications to anyone, not even to the people who run it. Advertisers and channel owners never see them.
- The careers privacy notice explains it all. It is linked from step 12 of the form and from the footer of every careers page. It is also section 31 of the Privacy Policy.
- To see, correct or delete your data, write to privacy@onflowads.com, from the address you used in the form if you can, and add your reference number.
If something goes wrongβ
Find the message you see among the cards below. Each card says why it happens and what to do next. Your answers stay saved on your device while you fix it.
"This file is not a PDF"β
-
Where you see it:
Under the CV box on step 11, after you add a file.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan, and applicants without an account.
-
Why it happens:
The form checks the file itself, not its name. This file is not a PDF, even if its name ends in ".pdf".
-
How to fix it:
Open your CV in the program you wrote it in, save or export it as a PDF, and add the new file.
"Your CV must be 10 MB or smaller"β
-
Where you see it:
Under the CV box on step 11, in a line that starts with the size of your file. After you press Send application, the same limit reads "Your CV is too big."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan, and applicants without an account.
-
Why it happens:
A CV can be at most 10 MB. Large pictures make a PDF big.
-
How to fix it:
Save a smaller copy, for example with fewer pictures, and add it again on step 11.
"This PDF is locked with a password"β
-
Where you see it:
Under the CV box on step 11, after you add a file.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan, and applicants without an account.
-
Why it happens:
The PDF is protected with a password. Some PDFs open without one but still block printing or copying, and the form refuses those too.
-
How to fix it:
Save or print your CV again as a new PDF with no password or protection, and add that one.
"Please finish the security check on step 12"β
-
Where you see it:
At the top of the form, after you press Send application. The whole line reads "Please finish the security check on step 12, then send again."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan, and applicants without an account.
-
Why it happens:
The short security check on step 12 had not finished when you pressed Send application. It may be waiting for you to tick a box. Nothing was sent.
-
How to fix it:
Go to step 12 if the form has not taken you there. If the security check asks you to tick a box, tick it. Wait until it says "Browser verified. Protected by Onflow Security." Then go back to the review and press Send application again. Your answers are still saved on this device.
"You have tried to send several times in a short while"β
-
Where you see it:
On the review, after you press Send application.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan, and applicants without an account.
-
Why it happens:
To stop spam, the form takes only a few applications at a time from one internet connection and for one email address.
-
How to fix it:
Wait a little, then press Send application again. If the message comes back, try again a day later. Your answers are still saved on this device.
A role "closed while you were applying"β
-
Where you see it:
After you press Send application, the review says "Some answers need a fix before we can send your application. We marked them for you." Press Go to the first one. On step 4, a line under the roles names the role, then says "closed while you were applying. Please go back to step 4 and choose another role."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan, and applicants without an account.
-
Why it happens:
The role stopped taking applications while you were filling in the form. Nothing was sent.
-
How to fix it:
Go back to step 4 and untick that role. Pick another role if you like, and check that one of your roles is marked as your main choice. Then send again.
The confirmation email does not arriveβ
-
Where you see it:
In your email inbox, after the thank-you page said "We are sending you a confirmation email".
-
Plans affected:
Every plan, and applicants without an account.
-
Why it happens:
The email can take a little while, or it can land in a spam folder.
-
How to fix it:
Check your spam folder. If it is not there, write to support@onflowads.com and add the reference number from the thank-you page.
