Keep the poll up

A host is paid only for a poll that stays in place for its whole window. Deleting it early earns nothing and lowers your reliability score.

The same on every plan

These rules are the same on every plan.

While the poll runs

  • Leave the poll message where it is until the bot stops it.
  • Keep @OnflowAdsBot as an administrator with the Post Messages right, so the bot can stop the poll.
  • Do not offer anything for votes, and do not ask readers to vote one way.

Onflow Ads checks at random times that the poll is still there, and the bot stops it at the end of the window.

If a poll is deleted early

PenaltyWhat happenedChange
Pulse poll deleted earlyA Pulse poll you hosted was deleted before it closed.βˆ’1.00

Your fee for that poll is not paid, and the brand gets your fee back. If you remove the bot's rights so the poll cannot be stopped, that is a breach too: no fee, and the brand gets your fee back.

This penalty needs proof: your channel was readable, our bot was still an administrator, and the poll was gone on several separate checks. A problem on Telegram's side or ours never counts against you: the poll is then refunded to the brand, you are not paid for it, and you get a notice that it failed on Onflow's side. When the proof is not complete, the money stays held, a person reviews it and nobody's score moves until they decide. See Pulse penalties and appeals.

You can appeal a penalty like any other. See Your reliability score and appeals.

A review before any other penalty

A deleted poll is proven by the bot's own checks. Anything else, such as a reward offered for votes or a poll that breaks the content policy, is never penalised automatically. Our team opens a review, and you see it first on your reliability page under Reviews you can answer: what was found, what it would change, and until when you can answer. Nothing changes on your score before then, and a person reads your answer before deciding.

Why no incentives

A poll is only worth something if people answer it freely. Telegram's rules and ours forbid paying or rewarding anyone for voting, or for a particular answer. A host who does so breaks the Terms. If our team confirms it, after telling you what it found and giving you time to answer, your score is lowered and you cannot host Pulse polls while the mark stands. See Pulse penalties and appeals.
