Choose the channels for a poll
After writing the poll you choose which kind of channels should run it. Pulse offers it to opted-in channels that match.
Targeting works the same way on every plan.
Filtersβ
- Niche β the channel's category.
- Language β the language the channel posts in.
- Country β where the channel's audience is.
- Size β the channel's size band, by subscribers.
- Minimum Onflow Verified score β only channels with at least that score. See Onflow Verified.
- Brand Safety profile β shown when you keep a Brand Safety profile. See Screening the channels below.
The page shows how many opted-in channels match before you go on.

Which channels are chosen firstβ
When we choose the channels, the best match goes first: the Onflow Verified score, then the typical views, each weighed by the channel's reliability. A channel too new to have a score is counted as the middle (the median) of the scored channels in the same choice, so it is never pushed to the back for being new. This is only for channels that are genuinely new: a channel whose score is held back while we review it, or one that lost its score after months without placements, is placed after the scored channels. With fewer than three scored channels the score is left out and views decide. Your plan never changes a channel's score or its place. The quote lists each invited channel with its Onflow Verified badge.
Screening the channels with Brand Safetyβ
Pick one of your Brand Safety profiles and each channel is checked against that profile's saved results, free:
- A channel whose result fails your profile is marked held. With a profile that blocks, a held channel we chose is replaced by the next one, and held channels you picked yourself must be removed before you launch. With a profile that warns, held channels stay in the list and are invited only after you tick that you accept it.
- The checks run for your poll only: they are not added to your own scan list; the quote shows passed or held per channel.
- A channel without a result yet is invited, and a free check of its recent posts starts (up to the daily number of free checks). A poll never waits for a check, and no paid scan is ever started.
- The quote says, per channel, only passed or held, and how many were held back.
- The channels are not told and nothing about them changes.
If Brand Safety is paused, the quote says so and the poll goes out without the check.
How many channels, and for how longβ
Ask for between 10 and 200 channels. Your plan sets the most channels one sponsored poll can go to: 25 on Free, 50 on Lite, 100 on Plus and 200 from Elite. Choose a window between 24 and 72 hours: each poll runs for that long and is then stopped by Onflow Ads.
Channels that are never invitedβ
Your own channels, and channels of any account linked to yours, are never offered your poll. A channel whose owner has not opted in to Pulse, or whose settings do not accept your category or your fee, is not offered it either.
