Release a payout early
Normally a channel's fee is paid a set time after its poll completes, so you can dispute it first. As the brand, you can choose to release one channel's fee early instead. It is a deliberate decision: the money leaves Onflow's hands and you give up your protections for that channel.
Early release works the same way on every plan. Only you, the brand on that poll, can do it: no plan, support request or admin action releases a fee early.
Once released, the money has left Onflow's hands. Onflow is not responsible for fraud, disputes or anything else about it, and it can't be undone, by you, by support or by anyone.
When it is offeredβ
- Only after our check has confirmed the poll is live in that channel. Never before it is posted.
- One channel at a time: each host channel's fee is a separate decision.
- Only on the website.
- Only cash, and only cash whose deposit has cleared. Host fees are paid in cash, so this is normally the whole host fee. On a poll bought before the current rules, the part you paid with Onflow Credit is never released early; it is paid on its normal date.
Release a channel's feeβ
- Open your poll's report on the Pulse page.
- In Payouts to channels, press Release early⦠next to the channel. The early release page opens.
- Check the facts: who it is released to, the Amount released now, the part Paid with Onflow Credit, kept to the normal date, and the Normal payout date.
- Under For this order, I give up:, tick every item (the list is below).
- Type RELEASE in capitals.
- Enter your password, and the code from your authenticator app if you use two-factor sign-in.
- Press I understand, continue, wait for the short countdown, then press Release now.
You get a receipt by email and on Telegram, and both you and the channel's owner see "Released early" on the order.
What you give up for that channelβ
Each of these is a box you must tick:
- Disputes: I can no longer dispute this order.
- Refunds: the released money is not refunded to me for any reason.
- Make-goods: no replacement run or make-good is owed for this order.
- Guarantees: no delivery or results guarantee applies to this order any more.
- Brand Safety Shield pause refunds: none for this order.
- Brand Lift wave refunds: none for this order's poll.
- Onflow's help with fraud: the money has left Onflow's hands; Onflow is not responsible for fraud, disputes or anything else about it.
If the host later breaks the rules, for example by deleting the poll early, the money you released does not come back through Onflow, and Onflow keeps its 15% as it does for any proven early deletion. Only what Onflow still holds can come back, under the rules in Pricing and the cap: for example, the 15% if the poll later fails on Onflow's side. The host's reliability can still be lowered for a proven breach.
When it is not availableβ
The page says why, and the fee is paid on its normal date. Early release is not available when:
- the poll has not been confirmed live in that channel by our check;
- the channel's payout has a dispute, or was already released early;
- you and the channel's owner are the same person or linked accounts;
- your cash payment has not cleared yet, or (on a poll bought before the current rules) the fee was paid entirely with Onflow Credit (for example, a recent top-up that can still be refunded or charged back);
- your account is too new, or cannot release money right now;
- your reliability band, or the channel owner's, is Restricted or Frozen;
- you reached the daily limit on early releases, in number or in amount;
- the channel's owner has received too many early releases recently.
