Plans FAQ and troubleshooting
Short answers to the questions that come up most often about plans, billing and tier limits, followed by a plain-English explanation of every message the purchase flow can show. Each answer links to the full page if you need the detail.
Choosing a planโ
How do I compare the tiers?โ
Open onflowads.com/pricing for the published side-by-side table, or read Comparing the tiers here. Each tier also has its own page: Free, Lite, Plus, Elite, Master, Ultimate.
Which tier should I pick?โ
Work from numbers you already have: the fee you pay on withdrawals, the fee you pay on top-ups, your monthly Boost spend, and the single limit you keep hitting. The marketplace fee is the same on every plan, so it never enters the sum. A rung pays for itself when the fees it saves plus the limit it clears are worth more than its price.
Do I need a paid plan to use Onflow Ads?โ
No. Free is a complete working account across every product. Paid tiers buy speed, scale and margin.
Can I try a tier before committing?โ
There is no trial, but a monthly term is only 30 days and nothing auto-renews. A first-ever purchase also gets an automatic 10% discount.
Can referring people get me a paid tier?โ
No. The Referral Programme pays in non-withdrawable boost credit, not in tier: one code per account, a permanent binding at signup, and a share of every top-up the person you referred pays. It lives at onflowads.com/account/referrals โ see Referral Programme.
Is there a rung that raises my AI allowance above Master's?โ
No. AI text and images top out at Master, and Ultimate matches them exactly. If AI volume is the constraint, Master is the answer.
Billing and paymentโ
How do I pay for a plan?โ
From your Onflow Ads wallet balance. Top up on the wallet page, then buy or renew any tier on onflowads.com/pricing. No cards on file, no external subscriptions.
Can I buy a plan in the Telegram bot?โ
No. Memberships are sold on the website only. Every plan button the bot shows opens the pricing page. What the bot does do is mirror the website's published price catalogue, so the prices it quotes are always the ones you will be charged.
Does my plan auto-renew?โ
No. The full term is charged once, when you confirm, and the membership expires at the end of its term unless you renew it yourself.
How long is a term?โ
30 days for monthly, 365 days for yearly. Both are fixed windows, not billing anchors.
Do I lose anything by renewing early?โ
No. Renewals extend: the new term is added on top of whatever time you already have.
Can I pay monthly and switch to yearly later?โ
Yes. Flip the billing switch before pressing Renew โ a yearly renewal adds 365 days on top of your remaining time, at the 15% yearly discount.
Is there a refund if I upgrade?โ
No. Upgrading replaces your current membership immediately; remaining days are forfeited with no refund or proration. The checkout states exactly what you are forfeiting, recommends waiting if you can, and requires a confirmation checkbox before the pay button enables.
Why can't I buy a lower tier?โ
Lower tiers are locked while a higher one is active. Their buttons keep the ordinary Get [tier] label but are disabled, with the note "Available after your current plan expires โ no mid-term downgrades." Buy the lower tier once your current membership ends.
How do I cancel?โ
There is nothing to cancel. Do not renew, and the membership ends on its expiry date.
Do I qualify for the first-purchase discount?โ
The automatic 10% discount needs all three of: no active paid tier, no membership expiry date ever recorded on the account, and no previous premium charge anywhere in your wallet history. If you qualify, the checkout shows a List price row and a First-purchase discount โ10% row itself; there is no code to enter. It never stacks with the legacy price lock and never applies to a renewal or an upgrade.
What happens the moment I pay?โ
Your tier is live instantly on the website and in the Telegram bot, and a Premium activated notification goes out in-app, by Telegram message if your account is linked, and by email โ after the charge has committed, never before.
Are prices the same on the website and in the Telegram bot?โ
Yes. The bot reads the website's published catalogue and caches it briefly, with an identical offline fallback, so it cannot quote a price the website did not publish. It just cannot sell you the plan โ only the website can.
Will I be warned before my plan expires?โ
No. Neither the website nor the Telegram bot sends an expiry reminder. The end date is on the pricing page's status pill ("Active until [date]"), and since renewals stack on top of the days you have left, renewing early never costs you anything.
Is there pricing in Indian rupees?โ
Plan prices are in US dollars, and so is your wallet. You do not need dollars to pay, though. From India you can top up the wallet in rupees by UPI, card or netbanking: you type the rupee amount, the page shows the exchange rate and the exact total before you pay, and the wallet is credited in US dollars. The wallet page can also show your balance in rupees. See Top up with UPI or card and Currencies and exchange rates.
Limits and entitlementsโ
Where can I see my current plan?โ
In the one-line status pill under the billing switch on onflowads.com/pricing: your tier and badge, Active with a renewal date or Lifetime, any legacy price lock, your wallet balance and a Top up link. There is no days-remaining count anywhere on the page.
How do I know what my plan allows in a given product?โ
The product tells you as you go โ status strips, quota counters, locked controls that name the rung that unlocks them, and limit messages that name your plan and the next one. See Where tier limits appear.
When do my monthly allowances reset?โ
Monthly allowances โ marketplace placements, cross-promotion initiations, featured days, Proof Certificates, withdrawal requests and the AI month window โ reset with the calendar month. The AI day window resets at 00:00 UTC. Subscriber Exchange placement cycles run 30 days. Concurrency caps free up as items finish, and cross-promotion has no concurrency cap at all.
If I upgrade, when do the new limits apply?โ
Immediately, everywhere, on the website and in the bot. Entitlements are read live on every request, so there is nothing to invalidate.
If my plan expires, do I lose what I created?โ
No. Nothing is deleted and your wallet is untouched. Only limits, fees and features change. See Downgrading and letting a plan lapse.
Can I withdraw money on the Free tier?โ
Yes โ every tier can withdraw. The tier sets the fee (15% at Free down to 5% at Ultimate) and how many requests you may file per calendar month (1 at Free, unlimited at Ultimate). All withdrawals pass the same manual review, and non-withdrawable credit stays in-platform at every tier.
Does my plan change what it costs to add money?โ
Yes. The deposit fee on a wallet top-up is 9% on Free, falling to 4% on Master and Ultimate, and it is added on top of the amount you choose โ you are credited the full amount you type at every rung. An upgrade applies from your very next top-up. The exact rate is shown in the breakdown before you pay.
Can I get past a cap without upgrading?โ
Sometimes. Three things are sold one-off at any tier: a $5 per-campaign analytics pass, per-campaign delivery upgrades in the Subscriber Exchange (refunded in full if the ad is declined), and the $1 External Links add-on. Cross-promotion allowances have no one-off purchase โ the next rung is the only way past them. See Buying past a limit without upgrading.
Why can't I attach a button to my post?โ
Inline buttons are switched off on Free and unlock one at a time โ button one on Lite, two on Plus, three on Elite, four on Master, and Ultimate matches Master at four. Private Telegram links unlock at Lite, button colours unlock at Plus, and non-Telegram URLs need the $1 External Links add-on at any tier. See Post buttons and links.
Why can't I colour a button?โ
Colours start at Plus. On Free and Lite the swatch row is not drawn at all, so there is no locked control naming the rung, and if a saved creative already carries colours they are dropped silently when it saves โ there is no error message for this one. From Plus up, each button may carry its own colour: Blue, Green, Red, or the app's ordinary button. No rung above Plus adds anything here.
Why does my ad have "advertisement via onflowads.com" under it?โ
Because of the plan held by the owner of the channel it was delivered into โ not your own. Every ad the platform delivers carries that line unless the host channel's owner is on Plus or above. So a Free advertiser's ad in a Plus owner's channel goes out clean, and an Ultimate advertiser's ad in a Free owner's channel carries the line. It is the same wording in all three products, there is no toggle at any tier, and it is not sold separately. See The attribution line.
I am on Plus, so why do ads in my channel still carry the line?โ
Check the membership is actually active โ an expired paid tier reads as Free everywhere, immediately. In Paid Promotions the host's plan is read at the moment of publishing, so a placement booked while you were on Plus can still carry the line if the membership lapsed before it went out. And if you published that placement by hand rather than letting our bot post it, the post is entirely yours โ nothing on our side can add or remove the line on it.
My AI counter is lower than the pricing page says.โ
Reliability reshapes the AI allowance after the plan sets it: an account under review gets none, a low score is clamped to the Free text allowance with images off, and the 4.0โ4.9 band gets half the text allowance. An operator can also retune any cell. The counter in the AI panel is always the authority. See AI quotas and limits.
My channel was refused even though I am on a paid tier.โ
Marketplace entry is decided by floors that are not on the ladder: a minimum subscriber count on the channel and a minimum reliability score on the account. No tier lifts them. See Marketplace entry gates.
Legacy Premium and special statusesโ
I'm on the legacy $11 Premium โ what am I now?โ
You are Plus, with every current Plus benefit, and grandfathered on price: while your membership stays active โ or lapsed less than 30 days ago โ Plus renews at $11 monthly or $104 yearly. The lock shows in exactly two places: the status pill gains "ยท legacy $11 price lock", and the checkout gains a Legacy price lock โ Applied row. The Plus card itself re-prices, with its billing line reading "legacy price โ locked in". Upgrading past Plus, or lapsing for 30 days or more, releases the lock permanently.
Do legacy Premium accounts keep unlimited cross-promotions?โ
While the legacy membership is still active, yes โ that benefit was part of what was sold. Once it expires, it ends with the rest of the paid benefits.
What does "Lifetime" in my status pill mean?โ
Your membership has no expiry date. It cannot be renewed โ there is nothing to extend, and the card reads Current plan โ but it can be upgraded, which ends it permanently in exchange for a dated term on the higher rung. Lifetime memberships come from an operator grant only; they are never sold. See How billing works.
Why does this account show top-tier limits on a Free row?โ
Almost certainly the operator-set Testing flag, which makes an account resolve as Ultimate for nearly every gate without changing the tier stored on it. It deliberately does not lift the withdrawal fee or the monthly withdrawal allowance. See Testing accounts.
Every message the purchase flow can showโ
"Top up to continue" โ "You need $8.40 more in your wallet to buy Plus."โ
Your balance does not cover the price. Nothing was charged. Use Top up wallet, add funds, and pick the tier again. The same panel appears if the balance changes between opening the checkout and pressing pay โ the server's own wording behind it is "Insufficient funds in wallet."
"Can't downgrade mid-term" โ "You already have Plus active. Lower tiers can be purchased after it expires."โ
You tried to buy a tier below your active one. Wait for your current membership to expire. Nothing was charged.
"Upgrading to Elite replaces your current Plus membership immediately. Remaining time is forfeited โ no refund."โ
Not an error โ the server asking for confirmation on an upgrade. The page re-opens the checkout with the warning, the advice note and the checkbox. Tick it to enable the pay button, or cancel to keep your current tier.
"Your Plus membership is already lifetime โ there is nothing to extend."โ
You tried to renew a membership with no expiry date. Lifetime never lapses, so a renewal is neither possible nor needed. Nothing was charged.
"Pricing has been updated โ refresh the page."โ
Your browser was holding an old copy of the pricing page carrying out-of-date prices. Refresh and the current ladder loads. You were not charged.
"Ultimate is application only โ 50 seats. Apply through the contact page and we'll be in touch."โ
Ultimate cannot be purchased. Apply through the contact page โ see Applying for Ultimate.
Plan purchases need a signed-in account. Sign in at onflowads.com/signin and retry.
"Cross-origin request blocked."โ
The purchase request did not come from the Onflow Ads site. Open onflowads.com/pricing directly and buy there.
"Invalid tier selected." / "Invalid billing period selected."โ
The request did not name a purchasable tier or a valid billing period โ usually a stale page. Refresh the pricing page and pick again.
"Connection error" โ "We couldn't reach the server. Check your connection and try again."โ
A network problem between your browser and Onflow Ads. Before pressing Retry, check the status pill and your wallet history to see whether the charge landed.
"Something went wrong processing your purchase. Please try again."โ
The purchase did not complete. The wallet debit and the tier change commit together or not at all, so a failure leaves nothing half-done. Check the status pill and wallet history, then try again; if it repeats, use the contact page.
The status pill is missing, but the prices are still thereโ
The account fetch failed. The page hides the pill rather than showing an error and keeps its static prices, so the ladder still reads correctly. Refresh โ buying needs that fetch to succeed.
A limit message says my plan covers less than this guide statesโ
The product reads your account's live entitlements and is authoritative. Check that your membership has not expired โ an expired paid tier reads as Free everywhere โ and remember that AI allowances are additionally shaped by reliability. The pricing page is the authoritative published comparison.
Still stuck?โ
Reach the team through the contact page or your support channel. Email support is open to every tier, including Free, and the desk works messages in order of recency โ there is no queue that sorts by plan. What your tier does set is your Onflow AI support chat allowance (30 messages per rolling 30-day cycle on Free, unlimited from Lite up) and, on paid-promotion concerns, your published dispute-resolution target: none below Elite, 48 hours at Elite, 24 hours at Master and Ultimate. Ultimate also comes with a dedicated account manager.
