Troubleshooting owner listings and bookings
This page covers what can go wrong after your channel is listed: on the listing manager, on your public page, in the bookings queue, while an ad is published and pinned, and on the Telegram booking card. Find the message you see, or the thing that is not working.
Problems with getting in, choosing your side or the List a channel steps are on Troubleshooting Paid Promotions for channel owners. Payouts, identity verification, concerns and auctions are on Troubleshooting owner payouts and auctions.
Opening, pausing and removing a listing
These messages appear on the listing manager — the page Manage listing opens from My channels on your desk — and on the desk card's Remove button.
"This listing isn’t one of your channels, or it’s no longer available."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, in place of the whole page, with a Back to my channels button. The same screen can read "This listing isn’t available.", "Listing not found." or "We couldn’t read that listing’s id."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The address is incomplete or mistyped, the listing was removed, or it belongs to a different account from the one you are signed in to.
- How to fix it: Press Back to my channels and open the listing with Manage listing on its card. If the card is not there, check that you are signed in to the account that listed the channel.
"Couldn’t load some of this channel’s settings. Reload the page to try again."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, as a slide-in notice. Performance and Analytics are missing, and Auto-accept and Dynamic pricing show "Couldn’t load this setting. Reload the page to see or change it."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The page could not read part of the channel's settings this time. Your saved settings have not changed.
- How to fix it: Reload the page. Do not re-enter a setting until the panel shows its saved value again.
"Locked while this listing is under review."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, on the strip that holds the Re-read from Telegram button.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The listing's badge is IN REVIEW. Its figures are frozen until the review is decided, so the button is switched off.
- How to fix it: Wait for the review result. Once the badge reads LIVE or NEEDS CHANGES, the button works again.
"Locked while this channel is paused — relist it to re-read."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, on the Re-read from Telegram strip. After pressing the button on an unlocked listing you can instead see "We couldn’t reach Telegram from our server right now. Please try again in a moment.", "Couldn’t re-read that channel right now — try again in a moment." or "That channel’s public preview is no longer available."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: A PAUSED listing cannot be re-read. The two "try again in a moment" messages are temporary failures. The last one means the channel can no longer be read publicly: it was made private, renamed or deleted. In every case your figures are unchanged.
- How to fix it: Press Relist, then Re-read from Telegram. For a temporary failure, try once more a little later. For the last message, make the channel public again under the same @username, then re-read.
"This channel has a number live slot auctions running. Pausing it now would make the winning bid unbookable."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, after pressing Pause listing and confirming. Related lines: "Only a verified, live channel can be paused." and "We can't currently confirm whether this channel has a live slot auction on it. Please try again in a moment."
- Plans affected: The auction message: Plus and above, because only those plans can host auctions. The other two: every plan.
- Why it happens: An auction is open on this channel and its winner must be able to book. The second line means the listing is not LIVE, so there is nothing to pause. The third is temporary. The listing was not paused.
- How to fix it: Let the auction close, or cancel it — every bidder is refunded — then press Pause listing again. To stop bookings on certain days without pausing, use Blackout dates. For the second line, reload the page and read the status badge. For the third, try again a little later.
"Your account is being deleted, so this channel stays paused. Stop the deletion first to switch it back on."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, after pressing Relist.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Your account is scheduled for deletion. While that is pending, a paused channel cannot go back on sale.
- How to fix it: Stop the account deletion first (see Your account page and settings), then press Relist.
"This channel has a number bookings waiting on you"
-
Where you see it: Your desk after Remove, or the listing manager after Remove channel and Yes, remove. The full message continues: "a request to answer or an accepted ad not yet posted. Decline or cancel them from your bookings (the advertiser is refunded in full and nothing counts against you), then remove the channel."
-
Plans affected: Every plan.
-
Why it happens: The channel has requests in New or accepted bookings that have not been published yet. Nothing was removed.
-
How to fix it:
- Open Bookings.
- Decline each request for this channel in New, and cancel each accepted booking in In progress.
- Remove the channel again.
If you only want a break, press Pause listing instead. Accepted bookings still run.
"This channel has a number live slot auctions with bidders' money held in escrow."
- Where you see it: Your desk and the listing manager, when removing a channel. The message continues: "Cancel the auction first — every bidder is refunded in full — then remove the channel." After an auction has finished you can see "A finished slot auction on this channel is still holding a bidder's money until it is returned to them (within two days). Remove the channel once that has happened." A third wording says we cannot confirm right now whether an auction is live on the channel, and asks you to try again in a moment.
- Plans affected: Plus and above.
- Why it happens: Bidders' money is tied to this channel, so it cannot be removed yet. Nothing was removed.
- How to fix it: Cancel the open auction — every bidder is refunded in full — or wait for it to close and for the held money to go back. Then remove the channel. For the "cannot confirm" variant, try again a little later.
A panel you expected is missing from the listing manager
- Where you see it: The listing manager. A panel such as Booking lead time, Priority review, Spotlight deal, the category sponsor panel, or a button such as Pause listing or Relist is not on the page. There is no message.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Panels follow the status badge. Booking lead time, the sponsor panel, Pause listing and a new spotlight need a LIVE listing. Priority review shows only while the badge is IN REVIEW. Relist shows only while it is PAUSED. On a channel that has never run a spotlight, Spotlight deal is hidden whenever one cannot be started. That happens when no slot is priced, when every spotlight your plan allows at once is running on your other channels, or when the panel could not load.
- How to fix it: Check the badge next to the channel name first. For a missing Spotlight deal panel, make sure the listing is LIVE with at least one priced slot, or end a spotlight on another channel. If the badge is right and the panel is still absent, reload the page.
Blackout dates, auto-accept and dynamic pricing
These panels sit lower on the listing manager and control when and how bookings reach you. Lead time, blackout dates and auto-accept explains each one.
"The end date can’t be before the start date."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, Blackout dates, after pressing Close these dates. The same panel can say "Pick a start date.", "Choose the first day to close.", "That range is entirely in the past.", "A single blackout can span at most a year.", "Couldn’t load your blackout dates. Reload the page to try again.", "Couldn’t close those dates — try again.", "Couldn’t reopen — try again." or "That range is already gone."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The dates do not form a range that can be closed, or the panel could not read or save this time. Days you closed earlier stay closed; nothing new was closed.
- How to fix it: Set From to today or later and To on or after it. Split a closure longer than a year into two ranges. After a "couldn’t" message, reload and check the list before trying again. "That range is already gone." means it was already reopened.
"A slot auction on this channel goes live on date (UTC), inside that range."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, Blackout dates. The message continues: "Let the auction close, or cancel it, before closing that day."
- Plans affected: Plus and above.
- Why it happens: One of the days you tried to close is the day an open auction on this channel is selling. Nothing was closed.
- How to fix it: Choose dates that leave that day open, or wait for the auction to close and then close the day.
"Couldn’t save — try again."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, as a slide-in notice after a failed save in Auto-accept, Dynamic pricing or Booking lead time.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The save did not reach us. Your previous setting still applies.
- How to fix it: Check your connection and save again. In Auto-accept, a box left empty after Only when they pay at least $ is saved as 0, which accepts every request.
Auto-accept is on but a request is still waiting in New
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, New tab. The request shows its To answer: countdown as usual. There is no message.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Auto-accept skipped this request. Either the advertiser pays less than the lowest price you set, or your withdrawable balance could not cover the good-faith deposit the request card names. The countdown keeps running.
- How to fix it: Answer it yourself with Accept booking or Decline before the countdown ends. For next time, lower the amount in Auto-accept, or keep enough withdrawable balance for deposits.
Auto-accept accepted a request you expected to answer yourself
- Where you see it: The bookings queue. A request is already in In progress, and a good-faith deposit may have been staked from your wallet. There is no message.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Auto-accept new bookings on this channel is ticked, and the advertiser paid at least the amount in Only when they pay at least $. A box left empty counts as 0, which accepts every request.
- How to fix it: On the listing manager, open Auto-accept, type the lowest amount you want accepted for you and press Save. To answer every request yourself, untick the box and press Save. The booking that was accepted can still be cancelled before the ad is posted.
Dynamic pricing is on and your prices never move
- Where you see it: The listing manager. Track demand automatically is ticked, yet the Rate card shows the prices you set.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Dynamic pricing follows how full your days are. When Analytics says "No per-day cap set — every day is open.", there is no "full" to measure, so prices stay on your saved baseline. The switch being on is not a promise that a price will change.
- How to fix it: Nothing is wrong and nothing is lost: your own prices apply. No owner page sets a daily limit on ads, so contact support with the Listing ID if you want to ask about one. Turning the switch off restores your prices exactly.
Spotlight deals, your audience and reviews
These messages come from three panels on the listing manager: Spotlight deal, Who this channel reaches and Reviews. Setting your prices, perks and spotlight deals has the spotlight limits for each plan.
"You can run the next spotlight on date. Your plan allows one spotlight per channel every a number days."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, after Launch spotlight. Usually the panel already says "Your next spotlight opens on date." and shows no form.
- Plans affected: Free, Lite, Plus, Elite and Master. Ultimate has no wait.
- Why it happens: Each plan sets a wait between two spotlights on the same channel, and that wait has not passed. Nothing was launched. A slide-in card with a See plans button may appear as well.
- How to fix it: Launch on or after the date shown. The wait is shorter on each higher plan; Comparing the six plans shows them side by side.
"You already have a number spotlights running and your plan allows a number at a time."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, after Launch spotlight.
- Plans affected: Every plan. The number allowed at once grows with the plan.
- Why it happens: Counting all your channels together, every spotlight your plan allows at the same time is already running. Nothing was launched.
- How to fix it: Press End early on a running spotlight, or wait for one to finish, then launch again.
"A spotlight is already running on this channel."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, Spotlight deal, as a slide-in notice. Other refusals from the same form: "Only a verified, live channel can run a spotlight.", "That format isn’t priced on this channel.", "Choose a placement format for the spotlight.", "Enter a whole-number discount.", "Choose how long the spotlight runs.", "That discount would make the placement free — lower it.", "Spotlight discounts run the lowest–the highest%.", "A spotlight runs the shortest length to the longest length.", "That spotlight isn’t running.", "Spotlights aren’t available yet — please try again shortly.", "Couldn’t launch the spotlight — try again." and "Couldn’t end the spotlight — try again."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: A channel runs one spotlight at a time, and each field has a limit that the message names. Nothing was launched or ended.
- How to fix it: Correct the field the message names: pick a priced Format, type Discount % as a whole number inside the range shown, and set Runs (hours) inside the range shown. For a "couldn’t" or "try again shortly" line, reload and look at the panel before pressing again.
"“the row's label” has no share — give it a percentage or remove the row."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, Who this channel reaches, after Save audience. Related lines: "That’s the most rows a listing can carry — 10." after Add a row, and "Couldn’t save that right now — try again." or "Audience insights aren’t available yet — please try again shortly." after a save. When a column adds up to more than 100, the line under it ends "— more than the whole channel. Overlapping groups are fine; a typo is not." That line is a warning, and the save still works.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: A row has a label and no percentage, you tried to add an eleventh row to a column, or the save failed. Labels are also checked like the rest of your listing text; a refused label comes with its own explanation. Nothing was saved.
- How to fix it: Give every row a percentage or press Remove on it, keep each column to 10 rows, then press Save audience. Leave a column empty if you are not sure of the figures.
"Write a reply first."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, Reviews, in the reply editor after Publish reply. You can also see "Couldn’t publish that — try again." or "That review isn’t on one of your channels." Typing stops, with no message, at 600 characters.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The reply box is empty, the save failed, the review belongs to a channel on another account, or the reply reached its length limit. Nothing was published.
- How to fix it: Type the reply, shorten it if typing stopped, and press Publish reply. If it still fails, reload the page and open Reply to this review again.
"No reviews yet" and "No funnel activity yet" on a new listing
- Where you see it: The listing manager. Reviews reads "No reviews yet. Advertisers can leave feedback once a placement they booked with you has been delivered and verified." Analytics reads "No funnel activity yet — it fills as buyers discover this channel." Member votes can read "No one has voted on this channel yet. Members can vote from its marketplace page and from its public link." Rate card can read "No rate card yet — set your formats and prices in the editor." Spotlight deal can read "No spotlight running right now."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: These are empty panels, not errors. Only an advertiser who completed a booking with you can write a review, and the funnel counts marketplace activity on this channel over the recent period.
- How to fix it: Nothing needs fixing. To bring advertisers in, share the link under Share this channel, or see Promoting your marketplace listing. For an empty rate card, press Edit pricing & rules and price your slots.
Sponsorship, priority review and analytics
Sponsoring a category and buying priority review are paid from your wallet. Each button shows the price, then a confirm label with the charge; nothing is taken until you press that second label.
"Top up your wallet to sponsor this category."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, under the sponsor buttons (7 days, 14 days, 30 days).
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Your wallet balance is lower than the total for the number of days you chose. You were not charged.
- How to fix it: Add funds to cover the total on the button, then press the days button and its confirm label again.
"You just sponsored this category with this channel. Check your sponsored slot before buying more."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, under the sponsor buttons.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: A second purchase for the same channel arrived moments after the first. This refusal protects you from paying twice. The first purchase stands and the second was not charged.
- How to fix it: Reload the page and check the sponsor panel. Buy again later only if you really want more days.
"Only a live listing can sponsor a category."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, under the sponsor buttons. A related line is "Set this listing’s category before sponsoring it." On a listing that is not live, or has no category, the sponsor panel is not shown at all.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Sponsorship needs a LIVE listing with a category. The listing stopped being live, or has no category, between opening the page and pressing the button. You were not charged.
- How to fix it: Press Relist on a paused listing, or wait for a review to finish. To set a category, press Edit pricing & rules; editing a live listing can send it back for review. Then buy again.
"Priority review applies while a listing is awaiting verification."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, after pressing the Priority review button and its confirm label.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The review was decided between opening the page and pressing the button, so there is no queue left to move up. You were not charged.
- How to fix it: Reload the page and read the status badge. There is nothing to buy.
"This listing already has priority review."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, on a second press of the Priority review button.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Priority review was already bought for this review. You are not charged twice.
- How to fix it: Nothing to do. The panel shows "Priority review purchased — a moderator will look at this listing first." Priority review moves the listing up the queue; it does not decide the result.
"Top up your wallet to buy priority review."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, on the Priority review panel of a listing that is IN REVIEW.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Your wallet balance is lower than the price on the button. You were not charged.
- How to fix it: Add funds, then press the button and its confirm label again. The review also goes ahead without priority review.
"Channel P&L is not available on this account."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, Analytics. Pressing the box brings up a card titled "Channel P&L" that says Master and above see earned, in-escrow and fees for a channel at a glance, with a See plans button.
- Plans affected: Free, Lite, Plus and Elite.
- Why it happens: Channel P&L is part of Master and Ultimate. Slot occupancy and the buyer funnel in the same panel are shown on every plan.
- How to fix it: Read the same money per booking in Bookings, in the Payouts panel, on any plan. To see it per channel, move to Master or Ultimate: Upgrading to a higher plan.
"This channel's owner doesn't publish a Performance Passport."
- Where you see it: The channel page advertisers open in the marketplace, in the Performance Passport panel. On plans that include the passport the panel can instead say "Not enough monitored placements yet to publish a witnessed record. Numbers appear once this channel has delivered three."
- Plans affected: The first message: Free, Lite and Plus. The second: Elite, Master and Ultimate.
- Why it happens: Publishing a Performance Passport is part of Elite and above. On those plans the figures appear only after the channel has delivered enough placements.
- How to fix it: On Free, Lite or Plus, move to Elite or above to publish it. On Elite and above, complete more placements; the figures fill in by themselves.
Your public link and page
Your public page is the address under Share this channel on the listing manager. Your public channel page describes what visitors see there.
"No public link"
- Where you see it: The listing manager, in place of Share this channel, followed by "This channel gets a shareable link only while its listing is ACTIVE. Put it back on sale and the link appears here."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The listing is not LIVE: it is paused, in review, needs changes or is still a draft. The link exists only while the listing is on sale.
- How to fix it: Press Relist on a paused listing, or finish the review for the others. The same link works again once the badge reads LIVE.
"This channel has no share link yet. It gets one the first time it is read from Telegram."
- Where you see it: The listing manager, under the title No public link.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: No public link has been given to this channel yet. Nothing is wrong with the listing.
- How to fix it: Press Re-read from Telegram once, then reload the page. If the panel says the same, contact support with the Listing ID from the channel's desk card.
"This page drifted off the grid."
- Where you see it: A visitor sees it after following your public link, with the buttons Back home and Explore Telegram.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The listing is not on sale right now — it is paused, was sent back or was removed — or the address was mistyped. The link works again when the listing is LIVE.
- How to fix it: Put the listing back on sale. Then press Copy link under Share this channel and send that exact address.
"We're tuning things up"
- Where you see it: On your public link, as a full page that says Onflow Ads will be back in a few minutes.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: A temporary problem on our side. It has nothing to do with your listing, and nothing about it has changed.
- How to fix it: Open the link again a little later. You do not need to change anything.
Your public link shows only a line of text asking you to wait
- Where you see it: On your public link. Instead of the page there is one plain line: "Too many attempts. Please wait a minute and try again."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The page was opened very many times in a short while, for example by reloading it over and over while testing.
- How to fix it: Stop reloading, wait, and open the link once later. Your listing and its link are unaffected.
"You can’t vote on your own channel."
- Where you see it: Your public page, under the two vote buttons, for a few seconds. Other vote lines visitors can see: "Sign in to vote on this channel.", "This channel is no longer taking votes.", "Voting is unavailable right now. Please try again in a moment.", "That didn’t save. Check your connection and try again." and "Choose thumbs up or thumbs down."
- Plans affected: Every plan, and visitors without an account.
- Why it happens: You are signed in to the account that owns this channel, and owners cannot vote on their own channel. The other lines mean the visitor is signed out, the listing is no longer on sale, or the vote did not reach us. No vote was recorded.
- How to fix it: Nothing to do for your own channel. A visitor signs in and presses the button again. A vote is one member's opinion and is not part of your reliability score.
A signed-in channel owner sees no Book a slot button on a public channel page
- Where you see it: Any public channel page, yours included. In place of the Book a slot button the page says: "You are signed in on a channel-owner account. Owner accounts sell slots and cannot book them, and the role is permanent, so booking here needs a separate advertiser account."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Your side of the marketplace is permanent, and the channel-owner side sells slots. The page is working as designed.
- How to fix it: To see your page as an advertiser sees it, open the link in a private window where you are signed out. Booking a slot takes a separate account on the advertiser side.
"We couldn't set your role just now. Please try again in a moment."
- Where you see it: A visitor who has not chosen a side yet sees it on your public page, in the Continue as an advertiser? panel. A connection problem reads "That didn't reach us. Check your connection and try again."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The visitor's choice of side could not be saved this time. No side was set, so they can try again. The Continue as advertiser button stays grey until they tick the box above it.
- How to fix it: If an advertiser tells you about this, ask them to tick the box and press Continue as advertiser again. They may then be emailed a six-digit code, and they must connect Telegram before they can book.
Your public page has no vote buttons
- Where you see it: Your public page. The strip with the two vote buttons and their counts is absent, with no message.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The vote counts could not be read this time, or the channel has not been given its public link yet.
- How to fix it: Reload the page. If the listing manager also says the channel has no share link yet, follow the card for that message above.
"This owner has not published prices yet."
- Where you see it: Your public page, in the Rate card section.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The listing has no priced slot, so there is nothing for a visitor to book.
- How to fix it: On the listing manager press Edit pricing & rules and set a price for each slot you sell. See Setting your prices, perks and spotlight deals.
The bookings queue: accepting, declining and cancelling
These messages appear on Bookings and in the notices about your requests. A Payout on hold pill on a delivered booking is covered on Troubleshooting owner payouts and auctions.
"We couldn't reach your queue just now"
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, in place of the list, with "Your bookings are safe — nothing auto-declines without the timers you see here." and a Retry button. A short notice says "Couldn't load bookings."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The list could not be loaded. Nothing changed, but each request's time to answer keeps running whether or not the page is open.
- How to fix it: Press Retry, or reload the page. If a request is urgent, press Review & respond on its Telegram card to open the queue on that booking.
"Your reliability is your score/10 — you need at least the minimum/10 to accept bookings."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, after Accept booking or Accept all. A longer form of the same refusal begins "Paid Promotions needs a reliability score of at least the minimum/10 — yours is your score/10."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Your reliability score is below the minimum the message names. Nothing was accepted and no deposit was held. While this lasts, new requests are declined for you at no cost and the advertiser is refunded.
- How to fix it: Finish the bookings you already accepted. The score recovers with clean deals and over time; your reliability page shows the detail. See How the reliability score works.
"Your account is under review while an open fraud concern is resolved."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, after Accept booking. The message continues: "You can finish anything already in progress, but can't start a new deal until it's cleared — see your reliability page."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: A concern about your account is open, or your wallet is on hold. Nothing was accepted. Bookings already in progress carry on.
- How to fix it: Wait for the decision; you are told the outcome. When an advertiser raises a concern explains the process and what you can send.
"This account can't start new deals right now."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, after Accept booking.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The account is suspended, so it cannot take on new bookings. Nothing was accepted.
- How to fix it: Contact support and quote the message. Account standing and restrictions explains suspensions and how to appeal.
"Paid Promotions is paused on this account until date and time UTC after a rule break."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, when you try to start anything new. The message continues: "You can see why, and appeal, on your reliability page."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Paid Promotions is paused on your account until the date shown. Bookings already in progress carry on; new ones cannot start.
- How to fix it: Open your reliability page, read the reason, and press Appeal if it was not your doing. See Appealing a penalty or a decision. Otherwise wait for the date in the message.
"Top up your wallet to stake the good-faith deposit."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, as an amber notice after Accept booking.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: This request asks for a refundable good-faith deposit, named on its card, and your withdrawable balance is lower than that amount. Promotional or locked balance does not count. Nothing was held; the request is still waiting and its countdown still runs.
- How to fix it: Add funds that count as withdrawable, or wait for a payout to arrive, then press Accept booking again. You can also press Decline, which costs nothing.
"That request can’t be accepted — it may have changed."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue. The matching lines are "That request can’t be declined — it may have changed." and, on an accepted booking, "That booking can’t be cancelled — it may have changed."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The booking is no longer in the state your page shows. The advertiser withdrew it, it was already answered in another tab or by auto-accept, or it ran out of time.
- How to fix it: Reload the page, then look for the booking in In progress and Cancelled.
"This request ran out of time to answer. It declines itself and the advertiser is refunded in full."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, after Accept booking.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The To answer: countdown ended before you pressed the button. The request was not accepted and no deposit was held. It counts as a missed booking on your reliability.
- How to fix it: Nothing can be done for this request. Next time answer inside the countdown — declining is free — or switch on Auto-accept for the channel.
"That didn't go through — try again."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue. The listing manager has its own short lines of the same kind: "That didn’t go through — please try again.", "Couldn’t purchase — try again.", "Couldn’t remove that channel — please try again.", "This channel isn’t paused." or a brief line saying a channel, a setting or a date range was not found.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The page got no clear answer, usually because the connection dropped, the page had been open a long time, or a button was pressed twice. The action may or may not have happened.
- How to fix it: Reload the page first and check where things stand: which tab the booking is in, what the panel now shows. Press the button again only if nothing changed. Messages that can appear on any page, such as "Too many attempts", are on Troubleshooting Paid Promotions for channel owners.
"a number accepted, a number couldn’t be processed."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, after Accept all or Decline all (then it reads "declined").
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Each selected request is answered one after another, and some were refused. The usual reasons are a deposit your balance could not cover or a request that changed meanwhile. The tally does not say which or why.
- How to fix it: Open New. The refused requests are still there. Answer each one on its own to see its reason.
"This ad is already live — it can no longer be cancelled."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, after Cancel booking on an accepted booking.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The ad has been published. An accepted booking can be cancelled only before it is posted.
- How to fix it: Let the ad run; the bot removes it when the booked time ends. Do not delete it yourself, because that counts against your reliability. If the ad itself breaks the rules, press Report advertiser on the booking.
"This ad is being posted to the channel right now, so it can’t be cancelled at this moment."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, after Cancel booking. The message ends "Check again in a few minutes." A related line is "We could not confirm whether this ad was posted to the channel, so our team is checking before it can be cancelled. You will hear from us about the outcome."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The bot is publishing the ad at this moment, or the result of a posting attempt is not yet known. The booking was not cancelled.
- How to fix it: Reload a little later. If the ad is live, it can no longer be cancelled. For the second message, wait to hear from our team; quote the Order ID if you contact support.
"The booked window has closed, so this booking is being settled automatically"
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, after Cancel booking. The message continues: "the advertiser is refunded either way. It can no longer be cancelled."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The time booked for this ad has passed without it being published, and the booking is being closed for you.
- How to fix it: Nothing to press. A notice tells you the outcome; see the cards about a booking that was not posted in the next group.
"You’ve already rated this booking."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, when rating an advertiser. Related lines: "You can rate the advertiser once the ad has run.", "Choose a star rating.", "Ratings run 1–5 stars." and "Ratings aren’t available yet — please try again shortly."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: You can rate each booking once, after the ad has run, and a rating is permanent. No new rating was saved.
- How to fix it: Nothing to do for a booking you already rated. For a new one, wait until the ad has run, choose a star under Rate this advertiser, then press the Publish button that appears beside the stars.
"Counter-offers are no longer part of Paid Promotions — your listed rate is the rate."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, on a page left open from before the change or on an old request that still reads "Counter sent". The message ends "Accept the booking or decline it." An old page can also answer "Delivery is automatic: we publish the booked ad for you at the booked time and take it down when the run ends. There is nothing to mark as posted."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Two older steps no longer exist: sending a counter-offer, and marking an ad as posted. Your listed rate is the rate, and the bot publishes for you.
- How to fix it: Reload the page, then accept or decline the request. To charge a different price for future bookings, press Edit pricing & rules on the listing manager.
"A booking request expired — your reliability moved"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram. The booking is in Cancelled.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Nobody answered the request before its time ran out. It was declined for you and the advertiser was refunded in full. No money was taken from you, but it counts as a missed booking on your reliability. Answering in time, even to decline, never does.
- How to fix it: Nothing can be undone for this request. To avoid the next one, choose a longer Booking lead time, switch on Auto-accept, or close the days you are away with Blackout dates. See Lead time, blackout dates and auto-accept.
"A booking request expired — nothing held against you"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram. The booking is in Cancelled.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Your auto-accept setting covered the request, but it could not be accepted for you before its start time. It was declined, and the advertiser was refunded in full. Your reliability is unchanged and no deposit was taken.
- How to fix it: Nothing to do. If it happens more than once, contact support with the channel's name and the time of the notice.
"A booking request was declined for you"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: A request arrived while your account could not accept bookings. The notice names the possible reasons: a payout hold, an open concern, or a reliability score below the minimum. The advertiser was refunded. It does not count against your reliability, and no deposit was taken.
- How to fix it: Open Paid Promotions; it names what is blocking you and what clears it. The cards above for "Your reliability is…" and "Your account is under review…" explain the two most common blocks.
An expected booking request never arrives
- Where you see it: Nowhere on your side: an advertiser says they tried to book, and nothing reaches your queue.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Your own rules stopped the booking at the advertiser's checkout. The start was sooner than your lead time allows, the start day is one of your blackout dates, or the ad's topic is one you declined. A listing that has only now gone live may also be shown first to advertisers whose plan includes first look.
- How to fix it: On the listing manager check Booking lead time and Blackout dates, and review Topics you decline with Edit pricing & rules. Then ask the advertiser to pick a start time that fits.
"Couldn’t load your upcoming payouts. Reload the page to try again."
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, as an amber notice; the Payouts panel is missing. A second notice of the same kind is "Couldn’t check your payout verification status. Reload the page to try again.", and then the verification card is missing.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The page could not read your payouts or your verification status this time. No money is affected.
- How to fix it: Reload the page. A missing verification card does not mean nothing is required, so reload before you rely on it.
"Nothing here yet"
- Where you see it: The bookings queue, on any tab, above "Bookings land in this tab as they move."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The tab you are on has no bookings. The queue opens on New, which is empty once every request is answered. If you came from a channel's Open bookings link, the queue is also filtered to that channel.
- How to fix it: Look in Delivered for payouts to claim and in Completed for paid ones; All shows everything. If a pill reads "Only your channel", press Show every channel.
Publishing, pinning and the end of the run
The bot publishes every accepted ad, pins it where the advertiser paid for the pin, and removes it when the booked time ends. How your booked ad is published describes the normal run.
An accepted booking shows "Last attempt"
-
Where you see it: The bookings queue, In progress tab, on the booking's card: "Last attempt: the reason — we keep retrying; make sure the bot is an admin with Post and Delete Messages."
-
Plans affected: Every plan.
-
Why it happens: An attempt to publish the ad did not succeed. The card gives the reason in one of five wordings: "Telegram refused the post (the bot may have lost its posting rights)", "we couldn’t reach Telegram", "the post went out but couldn’t be recorded, so it was taken down to be posted again", "the post is live but the pin didn’t take" or "the post didn’t go through". Nothing is lost yet.
-
How to fix it:
- In Telegram, open your channel's administrators.
- Make sure @OnflowAdsBot is in the list with Post Messages and Delete Messages switched on.
- Make sure the channel is still public.
You do not need to press anything on the website. We keep trying while the booked window is open.
"We couldn't publish your booked ad yet"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram, once for a booking.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The ad has not been published so far. One version of the notice says the bot needs to be an administrator with Post Messages and Delete Messages. It adds that if the booked window closes first "the advertiser is refunded and the failure counts as yours." The other version says "because this was not your doing, nothing is held against you."
- How to fix it: For the first version, restore the bot's rights now, as in the "Last attempt" card above; we keep trying while the booked window is open. For the second version there is nothing to do.
"A booking you accepted wasn't posted"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram. The booking is in Cancelled.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The booked window closed without the ad going live, and the cause was on the channel's side: the bot was removed, lost its rights, or the channel was closed. The advertiser was refunded in full, any good-faith deposit you had staked went to them, and it counts against your reliability.
- How to fix it: Open the booking to read the recorded reason, and restore @OnflowAdsBot with Post Messages and Delete Messages before accepting more work. If the bot was in place the whole time, contact support with the Order ID.
"A booking couldn't be posted — nothing held against you"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The ad could not be published in time for a reason that was not yours. The advertiser was refunded, any good-faith deposit came back to you in full, and your reliability is unchanged. There is no payout because the ad did not run.
- How to fix it: Nothing to do. If the notice adds that our team is reviewing what happened, you do not need to send anything.
The ad went live but was not pinned
- Where you see it: A notice and the Telegram card "Your booked ad is live". The notice says: "We posted the booked ad on your channel for you, but Telegram rejected our pin. We keep retrying it automatically; please make sure the bot has the Edit Messages (pin) right on the channel. The failed pin is recorded on our side as our problem, not yours." The Telegram card says "We posted the booked ad for you automatically, but could not pin it yet — we keep retrying, and the failed pin is recorded as our fault, not yours."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The advertiser paid for Pinned for the whole campaign, and the bot is not allowed to pin in your channel. The ad is live and unpinned. Nothing counts against you.
- How to fix it: In your channel's administrator settings, open @OnflowAdsBot, then Manage Messages, and switch on Edit Messages of Others. That is the right a channel uses for pinning.
"We could not take a finished ad down"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram, after an ad finished its run.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The bot tried to remove the finished ad and Telegram did not allow it, so the post is still in your channel. Nothing is held against you for this.
- How to fix it: Keep @OnflowAdsBot an administrator and switch Delete Messages back on for it as soon as you can. We try the removal again for a limited time. If the post is still in your channel after that, contact support with the booking's Order ID.
The line "advertisement via onflowads.com" appears under the ad
- Where you see it: In your channel, one blank line under a published paid ad, and in the preview the bot sends you.
- Plans affected: Free and Lite.
- Why it happens: Nothing is wrong. Ads carried by a channel whose owner is on Free or Lite are published with this line. It follows your plan, not the advertiser's.
- How to fix it: Move to Plus or above and later ads are published without it: Upgrading to a higher plan. Do not edit the line out of a live ad; editing a paid post counts against your reliability.
"A pin was removed before the campaign ended"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram. The booking card adds "− amount withheld · pin removed early".
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: An ad the advertiser paid to have pinned was unpinned, by you or by another administrator, before the run ended. The pin money you had not earned, plus our fee on it, comes out of this booking's payout and goes back to the advertiser. Your reliability has not changed yet, and the rest of the payout is unaffected.
- How to fix it: Pin the ad again in Telegram now and leave it pinned until the run ends. You then receive "Pin restored — no reliability mark"; the pin money stays refunded. If the pin was never removed, contact support with the booking's Order ID. When our team agrees, you receive "The pin charge was reversed" and what was taken is returned.
"The pin came down again"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram. One version ends "The reliability mark is back on the table — re-pin it before the campaign ends to avoid it. No further money is taken; the pin was already refunded in full." The other ends "but if the campaign ends with the ad unpinned, the mark is recorded."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: You pinned the ad again and it was then unpinned a second time. No further money is taken, because the pin was already refunded in full. A reliability mark will be recorded if the run ends with the ad unpinned.
- How to fix it: Pin the ad again before the run ends and leave it pinned. Ask your other administrators not to unpin paid ads.
"A reliability mark was recorded for an early unpin"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram, after the run ended.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The run finished with the paid pin still off, so it now counts against your reliability. Pinning the ad again before the end would have avoided it.
- How to fix it: Pinning the ad now does not undo the mark. If the finding is wrong, press Appeal on your reliability page. See Appealing a penalty or a decision.
"A pin charge could not be covered by the payout"
- Where you see it: The site bell, the Activity page, email and Telegram, with the line "Top up your wallet to settle the balance — until then nothing else that costs money can start." The notice names the channel and the amount that "could not be taken out of the booking's payout — so it has been charged to your wallet". The notice about the removed pin can say the same in these words: "the pin share you had not earned, plus our fee on it — was charged to your wallet, because this booking's payout had already been released. That left a balance owing: until it is cleared you cannot start anything else that costs money here. Top up your wallet to settle it."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The pin was removed after this booking's payout had already been released, so the charge was taken from your wallet and left a balance owing.
- How to fix it: Add funds to clear the balance; Clearing an overdrawn wallet explains what is blocked until then. If you think the charge is wrong, contact support with the booking's Order ID.
The Telegram booking card and Get the post here
The bot sends a card for each new request, with Get the post here and Review & respond. Accepting and declining always happen on the website; nothing is decided in Telegram.
"That button is no longer valid."
- Where you see it: In the bot, as a small pop-up after pressing Get the post here.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The card is very old or is not the original message, so its button no longer works. Nothing about the booking changed.
- How to fix it: Open Bookings on the website and read the ad on the request card. It shows the post as Telegram will show it.
"Could not fetch the post"
- Where you see it: In the bot's private chat, as a card after Get the post here, ending "Open the booking on the website to see it in full." Its first line is one of: "That button has expired. Open the booking on the website to view the ad.", "This booking isn't yours to view.", "That booking no longer exists.", "We couldn't tell which Telegram account this came from. Please try again from the booking message itself." or "We couldn't fetch that post just now."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: The card is old, the booking is gone, or the preview failed for the moment. It also happens when the button is pressed from a Telegram account other than the one connected to your Onflow Ads account, for example on a forwarded card.
- How to fix it: Press Open your bookings and read the ad on the request card. If the card said the booking is not yours, check which Telegram account is connected: Connecting your Telegram account to the bot.
"Could not show the post here"
- Where you see it: In the bot, after Get the post here, with "Telegram would not take the post in this chat." Related cards: "The ad's media is not shown here", when the ad's photo or video could not be sent to the chat, and the line "This ad has no text." The media card reads "The ad also carries a photo or a video, which could not be shown in this chat. The text above is the ad's own." For an ad without words it reads "This ad is a photo or a video with no text of its own, and it could not be shown in this chat."
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Telegram refused the preview message, or could not deliver the ad's picture or video into the chat. The preview is missing or incomplete. The booking itself is unaffected.
- How to fix it: View the full ad on the request card in Bookings before you decide. The website always shows the complete post, with its media, links and buttons.
No Telegram card arrives for a new booking request
- Where you see it: Telegram stays silent although the Bookings pill on the website shows a new request.
- Plans affected: Every plan.
- Why it happens: Telegram is not connected to your account, or the bot cannot message you because you never started it or you blocked it. When one order holds many requests for you, the later ones arrive together in a single card titled "More booking requests". The request is still in your queue with its countdown running, and a bell notice and an email were sent.
- How to fix it:
- Answer the request in Bookings now.
- Connect Telegram to your account: Connecting your Telegram account to the bot.
- Open @OnflowAdsBot, send
/start, and unblock it if you blocked it.
