Opening the owner pages
These cards cover the moments when you ask for an owner page and land somewhere else, or an owner action is turned away before it starts.
An owner page opens the Paid Promotions home instead
-
Where you see it:
The website, when you open Bookings, Add channel, Activity or the listing manager. There is no message.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The account you are signed in to is on the advertiser side, or has not chosen a side yet. Nothing was changed.
-
How to fix it:
If the home shows the side chooser, choose the channel-owner side. If the account is an advertiser account, sign in to your channel-owner account. The side is permanent, and working the other side takes a separate account. See Choosing the channel-owner side.
"Connect your Telegram to continue."
-
Where you see it:
The website. Every Paid Promotions page opens the connect screen, and an action on a page left open answers with this line. The other wording is "Add your email address to continue."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
Paid Promotions needs both a Telegram account and a real email address on your account. An account made with an email address has to connect Telegram. An account made by signing in with Telegram has to add an email address. Nothing was lost.
-
How to fix it:
Complete the step the connect screen shows. The page you wanted opens afterwards. Connecting Telegram and adding your email walks through both cases.
The home shows the side chooser although you chose a side long ago
-
Where you see it:
The website, on the Paid Promotions home.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The page could not read your account at that moment. Your side has not changed. Pressing a card would only answer "You're already enlisted, and your role can't be changed."
-
How to fix it:
Reload the page. Your desk returns with your channels.
"Paid Promotions listings are managed by Channel Owners. Choose Channel Owner on the Paid Promotions home to continue."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a red message after an owner action. On Bookings it fills the list, with a Paid Promotions home button.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The action came from an account that is not on the channel-owner side. This often happens when a page was left open and you then signed in to another account. Nothing was changed.
-
How to fix it:
Sign in to your channel-owner account and repeat the action. If this account has no side yet, press Paid Promotions home and choose one.
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a notice or a red line after any owner action. The other wording is "Please verify your email first."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
You were signed out while the page was open, often in another tab. Or the email address on your account is not verified. The action did not run.
-
How to fix it:
Sign in again, or finish verifying your email. Then repeat the action.
Choosing your side
You choose a side once, on the Paid Promotions home, by pressing Continue as owner and then pressing the same card again to confirm.
"Please verify your email before enlisting."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a slide-in notice on the side chooser, after you press a card twice.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The email address on your account is not verified yet. No side was saved.
-
How to fix it:
Verify your email address, reopen Paid Promotions and choose again. See Verifying your email.
"You're already enlisted, and your role can't be changed."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a slide-in notice on the side chooser.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
This account already has a side, and the side is permanent. Nothing was changed. You can also see it when the home showed the chooser by mistake.
-
How to fix it:
Reload the page to get the right desk. To work the other side, register a separate account. There is no switch, and support cannot change the side for you.
"Add your email address first, then choose again. We confirm this choice with a code sent to your email."
-
Where you see it:
The website, on the side chooser, after you press a card twice.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The account was created by signing in with Telegram and has no email address yet. No side was saved and no code was sent.
-
How to fix it:
Add an email address on the connect screen and confirm it. Then go back to the Paid Promotions home and choose again. See Connecting Telegram and adding your email.
"We couldn't send the confirmation email right now. Please try again in a moment."
-
Where you see it:
The website, on the side chooser, after you press a card twice.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The email that carries your confirmation code could not be sent at that moment. No side was saved.
-
How to fix it:
Wait a little, then press Continue as owner and confirm again.
"Too many attempts. Please try again in a few hours."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a slide-in notice on the side chooser.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The confirmation was locked after too many wrong codes. No new code was sent and no side was saved.
-
How to fix it:
Wait for the lock to end, then choose your side again. Pressing the card during the lock does not shorten it.
"Too many attempts. Please try again in an hour."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a slide-in notice on the side chooser.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The choice was tried too many times in a short period. No side was saved.
-
How to fix it:
Stop, wait as long as the message says, then choose once.
"Couldn't set your role — please try again."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a slide-in notice on the side chooser. The card resets. Without a connection the notice reads "Network error — please try again." The confirm page has its own versions: "Something went wrong. Please try again.", "Network error — please check your connection and try again.", "Could not resend. Try again." and "Network error. Try again."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The page did not get a clear answer, usually because the connection dropped. The page cannot tell whether your choice was saved.
-
How to fix it:
Check your connection and reload the Paid Promotions home. If Your desk appears, the side was saved. If the chooser is still there, choose again.
The confirm page jumps straight back to the Paid Promotions home
-
Where you see it:
The website, when you open the page Confirm your Paid Promotions role. There is no message.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
No confirmation is waiting for a code. You opened the page from a bookmark or an old email, or you already finished. Nothing was changed.
-
How to fix it:
Look at the home. If it shows Your desk, your side is set and nothing more is needed. If it shows the chooser, choose your side again.
The confirmation code
When your choice needs confirming, a 6-digit code is emailed to you and the page Confirm your Paid Promotions role opens. The line under the form shows how many resends are left and how long a code lasts.
"Incorrect code. The number left attempts left."
-
Where you see it:
The website, on Confirm your Paid Promotions role, after you enter a code. With one try left it reads "1 attempt left." With fewer than six digits the page says "Enter the 6-digit code from your email."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The code you typed does not match the newest one we sent. One attempt was used.
-
How to fix it:
Open the newest email and type all six digits. If you are not sure which email is the newest, press Resend code and use the code that arrives.
"That code expired. Tap “Resend code” to get a new one."
-
Where you see it:
The website, on Confirm your Paid Promotions role.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The code is older than the time the page allows. No side was saved, and the confirmation is still open.
-
How to fix it:
Press Resend code and enter the new code as soon as it arrives.
"Too many incorrect codes. For your security this is locked for 6 hours."
-
Where you see it:
The website, on Confirm your Paid Promotions role. The field and both buttons turn grey. The other wording is "Too many attempts. For your security this is locked for a few hours."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The last allowed attempt was a wrong code. The confirmation is cancelled and your side is not set.
-
How to fix it:
Wait for the lock to end. Then start again from the Paid Promotions home and choose your side.
"Your verification session expired. Please sign up again."
-
Where you see it:
The website, on Confirm your Paid Promotions role. The page then returns to the Paid Promotions home by itself.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The confirmation ran out of time, or it was opened in a different browser. Your side is not set. The message says "sign up", but you do not need a new account.
-
How to fix it:
Choose your side again on the Paid Promotions home, in the browser you will finish in.
"That code has already been used."
-
Where you see it:
The website, on Confirm your Paid Promotions role.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The same code was sent twice, usually by a double press. The first press normally succeeded.
-
How to fix it:
Open the Paid Promotions home. Your desk should be there. If the chooser shows instead, choose your side again.
"You've requested too many codes. Please start again."
-
Where you see it:
The website, on Confirm your Paid Promotions role, after you press Resend code. The page then returns to the Paid Promotions home by itself. Pressing Resend code too soon shows "Please wait numbers before requesting another code." instead.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
This confirmation has used all its resends, so it was closed. Your side is not set.
-
How to fix it:
Choose your side again on the Paid Promotions home. A new confirmation starts with a new code. For the shorter message, wait for the countdown beside the button and press Resend code once.
Adding a channel
These cards belong to the first step of List a channel, where you paste the channel's link and press Verify & add. The full task is on Listing your channel for paid promotions.
"Enter a public Telegram link, e.g. https://t.me/yourchannel."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under the link field on step Channel. With an empty field the line reads "Paste your channel’s t.me link or @username."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The text is an invite link, a private link or something else that is not a public channel address. Nothing was saved.
-
How to fix it:
Paste the channel's public address or type its @username, then press Verify & add. Private and invite-only channels cannot be listed.
"Add @OnflowAdsBot as an admin of that channel first, then try again."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under the link field on step Channel, after you press Verify & add.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The channel could not be confirmed with our bot. This one line covers several causes, so work through the list below. Nothing was saved.
-
How to fix it:
- Check the address. It must be the channel's own public one, not a group and not a person's account.
- In Telegram, open the channel's administrators and make sure @OnflowAdsBot is one of them.
- Switch on Post Messages and Delete Messages for the bot, and save.
- If the channel has never been used on Onflow Ads, it can also need a second Onflow Ads account added as an admin with every permission switched off. Verifying your channel shows where that account is named and lists the steps.
- Press Verify & add again.
"You must be an administrator of this channel to list it."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under the link field on step Channel, and under Publish listing. The message goes on to name the Telegram account that was checked and ends "Make it an admin, then verify again."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The bot is in place, but the Telegram account connected to your Onflow Ads account is not an admin of the channel. This is common when you manage the channel from a second Telegram account. Nothing was saved.
-
How to fix it:
Make the account the message names an administrator of the channel. Or connect the Telegram account that already is one. Then press Verify & add again.
"This channel is already on Onflow Ads under another account."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under the link field on step Channel. The message continues: "Connect your Telegram account in your account settings so we can confirm you are one of its administrators, then try again."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
Another account already holds this channel, and yours has no Telegram account connected to show that you manage it too. Nothing was saved.
-
How to fix it:
Open your account page and press Connect Telegram on the Telegram connection card. Then add the channel again.
"You’ve listed the number you have channels — the most this account can list is your plan's limit."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under the link field on step Channel. A card also slides in, titled with the first plan that allows more, with a See plans button.
-
Plans affected:
Free, Lite, Plus, Elite and Master. Ultimate has no limit.
-
Why it happens:
You already list as many channels as your plan allows. The new channel was not added.
-
How to fix it:
Remove a channel you no longer sell with Remove on its desk card. That frees a place at once. Or move to a plan with a higher limit: Comparing the six plans shows each one.
"Paid Promotions channels need at least the minimum subscribers. This channel has its count."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under the link field on step Channel.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The channel is smaller than the marketplace accepts. The message names the minimum that applies to you. Nothing was saved.
-
How to fix it:
List a larger channel, or come back when this one has grown. Marketplace entry gates explains the requirement.
"We couldn’t reach Telegram from our server right now. Please try again in a moment."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under the link field on step Channel. A second wording is "We couldn’t read this channel’s subscriber count — please try again in a moment."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
Telegram did not answer us, or did not return the channel's subscriber count. Nothing was saved, and nothing you did was wrong.
-
How to fix it:
Wait a little, then press Verify & add again.
"This channel can't be used on Onflow Ads for Paid Promotions."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under the link field on step Channel, and under Publish listing. The message continues: "If you believe this is a mistake, reply to the email we sent you about it, or open a support request quoting" a reference. It can leave out "for Paid Promotions", and can end with "Reason:" and a note from our team.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
Our team has blocked this channel from Onflow Ads or from Paid Promotions. Nothing was added, and an existing listing for it cannot be published.
-
How to fix it:
Reply to the email you received about it, or open a support request and quote the reference that the message or that email gives. Adding the channel again does not change the answer.
"Onflow Ads doesn’t list channels about gambling, betting, casinos or lotteries, adult content, illegal drugs, weapons, scams, hacking or stolen data, fake documents, or terrorism."
-
Where you see it:
The website, when you add a channel, and again when you save or publish its listing. The message ends: "If you believe this is a mistake, open a support request quoting this channel."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The channel's name, @username, description or category reads as one of the subjects Onflow Ads does not carry. Nothing was saved.
-
How to fix it:
If the channel is not about any of these, open a support request. Give the channel's @username and one sentence on what it publishes. The subjects are explained in Prohibited content and the content check.
"We couldn’t load your channels just now — refresh the page before adding one again."
-
Where you see it:
The website, on step Channel, where your channel cards should be.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The page could not read your channels at that moment. Nothing was lost. When you really have no channels yet, the line reads "No channels in your pool yet — add one below."
-
How to fix it:
Refresh the page. Your channels return, and you can pick one or add another.
Channel photo and details
Still on step Channel: the photo, the Channel name, the category and Where do your subscribers come from?.
"That image is over 2 MB — pick a smaller one."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a slide-in notice after you press Change photo. Related wordings: "That file is not an image.", "That image is over the 2 MB limit. Please upload a smaller one.", "Please upload a JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF image.", "We couldn’t use that image — what is wrong with it. Please choose another.", "Could not read that upload — please try again.", "Choose an image to upload.", "Image uploads aren’t available yet — please try again later.", "Couldn’t upload that image — please try again." and "Couldn’t remove the photo."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The file is too large, is not one of the accepted picture types, is damaged, or the upload was interrupted. The photo you had before stays.
-
How to fix it:
Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF picture under 2 MB and upload it again. If a picture is damaged, save it again from an image editor first. If uploads stay unavailable, try later.
"This picture can't be used"
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a panel under the photo on step Channel, with a slide-in notice titled "Refused by the content check". The panel lists what was found and carries an Appeal button.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
Every picture a member uploads goes through a content check, and this one did not pass. The picture was not stored, and your earlier photo stays.
-
How to fix it:
Choose a different picture. If you think the decision is wrong, press Appeal, say why the picture is fine and press Send appeal. A person then looks at exactly that picture. The rules are in Prohibited content and the content check.
"Give your channel a name."
-
Where you see it:
The website, on step Channel, after you press Continue or Publish listing. The missing field is ringed in red. The other wordings are "Pick a channel or add one to continue.", "Choose a category so buyers can find your channel." and "Tell us where your subscribers come from. Buyers see this on your channel page." At publish they read "Add a channel name before submitting.", "Choose a channel category before submitting." and "Tell us where your subscribers come from before submitting."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
A field on step Channel is empty. When this appears at publish, your other fields were saved, but the listing was not submitted.
-
How to fix it:
Fill the ringed field, then press Continue. If you were publishing, go on to Review and press Publish listing again.
"This listing is locked while it’s under review."
-
Where you see it:
The website, in the wizard and on the listing manager — the page Manage listing opens — when you edit, upload a photo or re-read the channel's figures.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan. It is most common on Free, where a person reviews every new listing.
-
Why it happens:
The listing's badge is IN REVIEW, and a listing cannot be changed until the review is decided. Your change was not saved.
-
How to fix it:
Wait for the result. It arrives in the bell, by email and in Telegram. If it is urgent, Priority review on the listing manager moves the listing up the queue for the fee shown on the button.
"This channel is paused. Relist it from its page first — a paused listing can’t be edited."
-
Where you see it:
The website, in the wizard, when you open or publish an edit of a listing whose badge is PAUSED.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
A paused listing cannot be edited. Nothing was saved.
-
How to fix it:
Open the listing manager with Manage listing, press Relist, then press Edit pricing & rules and make your change.
Pricing and the pin
These cards belong to step Pricing: the four slot rows, Apply suggestions and the Pinned for the whole campaign switch. Prices are covered on Setting your prices, perks and spotlight deals.
"Set a price for the required 1h top · 24h feed format."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a slide-in notice on step Pricing, after you press Continue.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The first row, marked Required, has no price or a price of zero. Every listing must sell this slot.
-
How to fix it:
Type a price in the 1h top · 24h feed row, then press Continue.
"Set a price for the mandatory “1 hour top · 24 hours in feed” format (at least the minimum price) before submitting."
-
Where you see it:
The website. After you press Publish listing, the wizard returns to step Pricing and shows the sentence. On a LIVE listing the same sentence, without "before submitting", appears under Publish listing.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The required slot is priced below the lowest price the marketplace accepts. On a new listing your other fields were saved, but the listing was not submitted. On a live listing the edit was not saved.
-
How to fix it:
Raise the price of the required slot to the amount the message names, or more. Then publish again.
A slot you priced is missing from the review screen
-
Where you see it:
The website, on step Review, and later on your rate card. There is no message.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
That slot is not being sold. Its switch is off, its price box is empty or zero, or the price is above the highest the marketplace accepts. Your other slots are not affected.
-
How to fix it:
Go back to step Pricing. Switch the slot on and give it a price inside the limits, then check Review again.
"No suggestion available yet — set your own rates."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a slide-in notice on step Pricing, after you press Apply suggestions.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
There is nothing to suggest for this channel yet. Your prices were not changed.
-
How to fix it:
Type your prices by hand. If the Suggested pricing panel still reads "Priced from measured category peers — tap apply to fill your rate card.", the suggestion did not load. Reload the page and look again.
The "Pinned for the whole campaign" row is missing
-
Where you see it:
The website, on step Pricing, under the slot rows. There is no message.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The page did not receive the pin's price, so it does not draw the row. Your current pin setting is kept as it is.
-
How to fix it:
Reload the page. The row returns with its switch.
"Our bot can’t pin in @your channel yet, so this can’t be offered there."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under Publish listing. The message continues: "Open the channel’s admin settings, give the bot Manage Messages → “Edit Messages of Others”, then switch this back on."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
Pinned for the whole campaign is switched on, but the bot does not have the right it needs to pin in that channel. The whole save was refused, including any price changes you made in the same visit.
-
How to fix it:
In Telegram, open the channel's administrators and give @OnflowAdsBot Edit Messages of Others, inside Manage Messages. Then press Publish listing again. To publish without the pin, switch Pinned for the whole campaign off first.
Rules: perks, lead time and topics
These cards belong to step Rules: buyer perks, lead time and the topic panels. Lead time is explained on Lead time, blackout dates and auto-accept.
"Buyer discounts run from 1 to the maximum% in whole numbers, or Off."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a slide-in notice after you press Publish listing. The wizard returns to step Rules and rings the box.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
A Custom perk is empty, zero, not a whole number or above the highest discount allowed. Nothing was saved.
-
How to fix it:
Type a whole number inside the range the Custom box shows, or choose Off. Then publish again.
"Couldn’t load this listing’s buyer discounts. Publishing keeps them as they are."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as an amber notice when the wizard opens on a listing you already published.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
Your saved perks could not be read. The chips on step Rules show the starting values, not yours. Publishing now leaves your real perks untouched.
-
How to fix it:
If you came to change a perk, reload the page first so that the chips show your saved values. If you came to change something else, you can carry on.
"Discount not saved"
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a notice after you press Publish listing. It reads "Your repeat-booking discount could not be saved. Set it again from this listing's settings." It can name the first-booking discount instead, or both.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The listing was saved, but that perk was not. The listing is published without the discount, and buyers do not see it.
-
How to fix it:
Open the listing manager, press Edit pricing & rules, set the perk again on step Rules and publish. Perks are set only in the wizard.
"Short lead time — be ready to answer"
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a slide-in notice on step Rules, when you choose Same day or Within 12 hours. It continues: "A booking can reach you with as little as that many hours to answer. Unanswered by go-live, it auto-declines and costs 0.30 reliability — pick this only if you can respond at any time." On the listing manager the warning is titled "Be ready to answer at any time".
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
This is a warning, not a refusal. Your choice is accepted. With a short lead time a request can arrive with only a few hours left to answer.
-
How to fix it:
Keep the short lead time only if you can answer requests at any hour, and keep booking notices switched on. Otherwise choose 48 hours ahead.
"This channel has a number of live slot auctions running, and they were opened against the lead time you have now."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under Publish listing, and on the listing manager's lead-time choices. The message continues: "Raising it would move a deadline the winning bid was built around and leave that booking unplaceable. Let them close first — or lower the lead time instead, which is always safe."
-
Plans affected:
Plus and above, the plans that can run auctions.
-
Why it happens:
You raised the lead time while an auction on this channel is open. The change was not saved. In the wizard the whole save is refused, including other edits from the same visit.
-
How to fix it:
Wait for the auction to close, or cancel it, then raise the lead time. Lowering the lead time is allowed at any time. See Running auctions on your slots.
"We can’t currently confirm whether this channel has a live slot auction on it. Please try again in a moment."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under Publish listing, and on the listing manager when you change the lead time or pause the listing.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The page could not check the channel's auctions at that moment. Nothing was changed.
-
How to fix it:
Wait a little, then try the same action again.
The panel "What advertisers may promote here" is missing
-
Where you see it:
The website, on step Rules, where the grid of topics should be. There is no message.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The list of topics did not load. The preferences you saved earlier are kept as they are.
-
How to fix it:
Reload the page. The panel returns with your Welcome and Refused choices.
Publishing and the result
These cards belong to step Review, where you tick the terms box and press Publish listing, and to the result screen that follows.
"Please accept the Paid Promotions terms to publish."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under Publish listing on step Review. A second wording is "Please accept the platform terms before submitting."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The terms box above the button is not ticked. Nothing was sent.
-
How to fix it:
Read the sentence beside the box, tick it, then press Publish listing.
"Paid Promotions channels need at least the minimum subscribers."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under Publish listing.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The subscriber figure we hold for the channel is now under the marketplace minimum. Your edits were saved, but the listing was not submitted.
-
How to fix it:
If the channel has grown since, open the listing manager and press Re-read from Telegram. Then publish again. If the channel really is under the minimum, it cannot be listed yet.
"Add @OnflowAdsBot as an admin of the channel, then publish again."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under Publish listing.
-
Plans affected:
Lite and above. On Free a new listing goes to review without this message.
-
Why it happens:
When you published, the bot was no longer an administrator of the channel, or it had lost Post Messages or Delete Messages. One line covers each of these. Your edits were saved, but the listing was not submitted.
-
How to fix it:
In Telegram, make @OnflowAdsBot an administrator again with both rights switched on. Then press Publish listing again.
"Your wallet is an amount overdrawn."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under Publish listing, for a new listing. The message continues: "Top up to clear it and your account unlocks — every credit, including anything you earn, comes straight off the balance first." A longer wording says the time to clear it has passed.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
Your account owes money, and a new listing cannot be published until that is cleared. The listing was not submitted. A listing that is already live can still be edited.
-
How to fix it:
Top up at least the amount the message names, then press Publish listing again. Clearing an overdrawn wallet explains how the balance is cleared.
"This listing can't be used"
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a panel under Publish listing, with a slide-in notice titled "Refused by the content check". The panel lists what was found and carries an Appeal button.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The listing's name or description did not pass the content check. The listing was not saved.
-
How to fix it:
Reword the part the panel points to and publish again. If you think the decision is wrong, press Appeal, say why the wording is fine and press Send appeal. A person then looks at exactly that listing. The rules are in Prohibited content and the content check.
"Couldn’t publish — check your details and try again."
-
Where you see it:
The website, under Publish listing. A second wording is "Couldn’t save your listing."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The page did not get a clear answer, usually because the connection dropped. It is not certain whether anything was saved. What you typed is kept in this browser.
-
How to fix it:
Press Publish listing again. If the message repeats, reload the page. Your values come back with the notice "Draft restored". Then publish once more.
The result reads "Submitted for review" when you expected "Listing is live"
-
Where you see it:
The website, on the result screen after Publish listing. The desk badge reads IN REVIEW.
-
Plans affected:
Free, always. Any plan for the other reasons below.
-
Why it happens:
A person is going to check the listing before it goes live. On Free every new listing is reviewed this way. On Lite and above it happens when the channel could not be confirmed automatically, for example because no Telegram account is connected to your Onflow Ads account. Until it is decided, the listing is not in the marketplace and cannot be edited.
-
How to fix it:
Wait for the result. It arrives in the bell, by email and in Telegram. If it is urgent, press Priority review on the listing manager: it moves the listing to the front for the fee shown on the button.
The badge reads NEEDS CHANGES and the page gives no reason
-
Where you see it:
The website, on the desk card and on the listing manager.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
A reviewer sent the listing back. It is not in the marketplace, and nothing was charged. The reviewer's note is not shown on any page. It is in the email "Your channel needs a few changes" and on the Telegram card "Channel needs attention".
-
How to fix it:
- Read the reviewer's note in the email or on the Telegram card.
- Open the listing manager, press Edit pricing & rules and fix what the note asks for.
- Press Publish listing. The result reads "Submitted for review" while the corrected listing is checked.
Editing a live listing
Pressing Publish listing on a LIVE listing saves your edits and shows them to advertisers at once. These cards explain the two results that surprise owners.
"Changes saved — live now"
-
Where you see it:
The website, on the result screen after you publish an edit. It says "Your new prices and rules are already what buyers see. The channel was not re-verified this time", then gives the reason and the date a re-check is next available, for example "A verified channel can go back for re-verification once every a number of days. Next available on date." A card naming a plan with a shorter wait can slide in, with a See plans button. When an auction is running, the reason says so and adds "Sending it back for review would take it out of the marketplace and make the winning bid unbookable."
-
Plans affected:
Free, Lite, Plus, Elite and Master, where the wait is shorter on each higher plan. Ultimate has no wait. The auction wording appears on Plus and above.
-
Why it happens:
This is not an error. Your edits are saved and live. Only the re-check of the channel was skipped, because your plan's wait since the last one has not passed, or because an auction is open on the channel.
-
How to fix it:
Nothing is needed. The screen shows the date from which a re-check is available again.
A LIVE listing turned IN REVIEW after an edit
-
Where you see it:
The website, on the desk badge, with the bell notice "Your listing is being checked again". The listing leaves the marketplace.
-
Plans affected:
Free, whenever an edit is published after the plan's wait has passed. Any plan when the channel could not be confirmed automatically, for example because your connected Telegram account is no longer one of its admins.
-
Why it happens:
Your edits were saved, and the channel went back for a check by a person. The listing is out of the marketplace until it is approved. Bookings you already accepted are not affected.
-
How to fix it:
Wait for the result, or press Priority review on the listing manager if it is urgent. Check that your connected Telegram account is still an admin of the channel. Changes you make on the listing manager itself, such as lead time, blackout dates and auto-accept, save without a re-check.
The Activity feed, notices and the bot
Every notice reaches the site bell and the Activity page. It also arrives by email and in Telegram when those are set up and switched on. Nothing in Paid Promotions is decided in the bot.
"We couldn't load your activity"
-
Where you see it:
The website, on Activity, with the line "Check your connection, then try again." and a Try again button. A notice says "Couldn't load your activity. Check your connection and try again."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The feed could not be read at that moment. Your notices are unchanged, and unread ones are still unread.
-
How to fix it:
Press Try again. If you are waiting on a booking request, open Bookings directly: its deadline keeps running.
"Couldn't mark everything read — try again."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a notice on Activity, after you press Mark all read.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The request did not go through. Your notices stay unread, and nothing else changed.
-
How to fix it:
Press Mark all read again. When it works, the notice reads "All caught up."
"Couldn’t load your preferences. Please try again."
-
Where you see it:
The website, in the Notifications dialog that Notification settings opens. When a switch cannot be saved it flips back, and the notice reads "Couldn’t save — try again." or "Network error."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
Your settings could not be read or saved at that moment. The setting you had before still applies.
-
How to fix it:
Close the dialog, check your connection and open Notification settings again. A change that saved shows the notice "Saved".
The Telegram switches in the Notifications dialog are grey
-
Where you see it:
The website, in the Notifications dialog, with the line "Link your Telegram to get instant alerts there too."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
No Telegram account is connected to your Onflow Ads account, so there is nowhere to send Telegram notices. Email notices and the bell still work.
-
How to fix it:
Press Link your Telegram in the dialog. On your account page, press Connect Telegram on the Telegram connection card. Then reopen the dialog and switch on the notices you want.
The bot answers every message with its welcome card
-
Where you see it:
The bot. Whatever you type, it replies "Welcome to Onflow Ads" with an Open Onflow Ads button.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The bot has no menus or commands for Paid Promotions. It brings you notices, shows you a booked ad when you press Get the post here, and publishes, pins and removes the ads. Nothing was changed by your message.
-
How to fix it:
Press Open Onflow Ads and do the task on the website. Messages the Telegram bot sends you lists what to expect from the bot.
"This button has retired. Manage everything on the Onflow Ads website."
-
Where you see it:
The bot, as a pop-up when you press a button on an old message.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The message comes from a time when the bot had its own menus. Those buttons no longer do anything, and nothing was changed.
-
How to fix it:
Open the website and do the task there. For a booking, open Bookings.
A notice did not arrive in Telegram or by email
-
Where you see it:
The bot or your inbox: a notice you expected is not there. The same notice is in the bell and on Activity.
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
One of four things. Telegram is not connected to your account. You have never started the bot, or you blocked it. That kind of notice is switched off in Notification settings. Or your Email frequency is set to a digest, so emails arrive together later. A deadline does not wait for a notice: an answer window or an appeal time keeps running.
-
How to fix it:
- Connect Telegram on your account page, then open @OnflowAdsBot and send
/start. - On Activity, press Notification settings and switch on Email and Telegram for Orders & bookings.
- Check Email frequency on the Settings tab of the Notifications page. Notifications and alert settings shows where it is.
- Read Activity regularly. A new booking request is sent to Telegram even when Telegram order notices are off, because it has a deadline.
- Connect Telegram on your account page, then open @OnflowAdsBot and send
Messages that can appear on any owner page
These messages are not tied to one task. They can answer any button on the desk, the wizard, the listing manager, Bookings or Activity.
"Too many attempts. Please wait a minute and try again."
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a notice or a red line after any owner action. The ending can also read "Please wait a few minutes and try again."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The same kind of action was repeated too many times in a short period. The last press did nothing. Earlier ones stand, and nothing was charged.
-
How to fix it:
Stop, wait, then try once. The wait can be longer than the message says, so do not keep pressing the button. See Account limits and lockouts.
"This feature is temporarily unavailable. Please try again shortly."
-
Where you see it:
The website, after any owner action. The other wording is "The site is busy right now and this did not go through. Please try again in a moment."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
A part of the site was briefly unavailable or busy. The action did not go through, and nothing was changed or charged.
-
How to fix it:
Wait a little and try once more. If it continues, look at the status page before you contact support.
"Something went wrong on our side and this did not go through. Nothing was changed."
-
Where you see it:
The website, after any owner action. The message ends by asking you to quote a reference if you tell us about it. A related message reads "A number, date or piece of text in this request is not one we can use (too large, or not a real date), so it did not go through."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
An unexpected fault on our side stopped the action. As the message says, nothing was changed.
-
How to fix it:
Try once more. For the related message, first check the numbers and dates you typed. If the message repeats, copy the reference it shows and send it to support with what you were doing. The reference lets our team find that exact attempt.
A short message asks you to reload or try again
-
Where you see it:
The website, as a brief notice or red line. Examples: "Please choose Advertiser or Channel Owner.", "You’ve already added that channel.", "Couldn’t verify that channel.", "Your prices couldn’t be read. Please reload the page and try again.", "Lead time must be 2, 12 or 48 hours.", "Choose a lead time of 2, 12 or 48 hours.", "Nothing to update.", "This listing is already under review.", "That listing was already submitted." and "Listing not found."
-
Plans affected:
Every plan.
-
Why it happens:
The page was out of date, or a button was pressed twice. This follows a page left open for a long time, a second tab, or an old link. At most one of the two presses took effect, and nothing was charged.
-
How to fix it:
Reload the page and look at the current state before you repeat anything. On the desk, check the channel's card and badge. If the state is not what you expect, do the action once more from the reloaded page.
Still stuck?
If no card here matches, look on the two other troubleshooting pages for this area, then contact support. The fastest way is onflowads.com/support, which opens the support chat whether you are signed in or not.
Send these four things so that the first reply can be an answer:
- what you were doing, and on which page or step
- the exact message, copied or in a picture of the screen
- the Listing ID from the channel's desk card, or the Order ID or Auction ID from the booking or auction
- the time it happened
