Identity Verification (KYC)

KYC β€” "Know Your Customer" β€” is the identity check payment platforms run before moving significant money. On Onflow Ads it is progressive: the requirement scales with how much you have actually been paid out over the lifetime of your account. A new seller faces no paperwork at all; a high-volume seller verifies in steps as their earnings grow.

Nothing here gates your listings, your bookings or your standing. It gates exactly one thing: releasing a payout that would carry you past a threshold.

Before you start

  • Verification is asked of the account, not of a channel. One account with ten listings has one set of thresholds.
  • Only the channel-owner side sees this card β€” it is keyed on payouts received.
  • You will need your legal name and your country. Nothing else is ever asked for on the website.

The thresholds

"Lifetime payouts" means the sum of your completed placement payouts. Not your wallet balance, not your listing prices, not money still in escrow.

No documents pass through the website

The only fields the site ever collects are your legal name and your country. No government-ID number is collected or stored here. Levels 2 and 3 are completed by the Onflow Ads team out of band, and clearing them raises your level without anything else being asked through the browser.

How the gate works

The check runs at the instant a payout is about to release, and it counts the payout being released β€” so the exact deal that would carry you across a threshold is the one that is gated, never one payout too late.

  • If your level already covers the new total, nothing happens. Most payouts release without you noticing the system exists.
  • If it does not, that payout is held β€” never lost β€” and the booking reads: "This payout crosses a verification threshold. Complete [level] verification on your Paid Promotions profile to release it β€” your funds are held safely until then."

The same gate applies to a manual claim, to instant payout, to the automatic release sweep and to an advertiser confirming early. There is no route around it, and no way to lose money to it.

Everything else keeps working while a payout is held: other payouts below the threshold, your listings, your bookings, and withdrawals of money already in your wallet.

Step by step β€” verifying

  1. Open your bookings queue at https://onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard/paid-promotion/bookings. The verification card sits at the very top, marked with a shield.
  2. Read the heading. Verification required names what is needed and prints your current lifetime payout figure.
  3. Enter your Legal name and your Country.
  4. Press Verify.
  5. Read the answer:
    • Basic β€” approved on the spot: "Verified β€” thanks. Your payouts are clear." The card turns green and any held payouts release through the normal claim flow.
    • Identity or Enhanced β€” your submission opens a review: "Submitted. Our team will complete your verification shortly β€” your held payouts release as soon as it clears." The card switches to Verification in review.

If a review is not approved the card returns to Verification required. Submit again with corrected details, or contact support if you are unsure what to fix. A rejection holds the affected payouts; it never confiscates them.

Verify before you are ever held

Once you are cleared the card does not disappear β€” it tells you in advance where the next level starts: "You're verified β€” next level unlocks near $N lifetime payout." That is your cue to clear the next level early and never have a payout held at all.

Thirty seconds now, or a held payout later

If you expect to sell at volume, submit basic verification the day you list. It clears instantly, it removes the first gate entirely, and it means the first booking that happens to cross $500 pays out like any other.

A green "Verified" card does not always mean you submitted something

A brand-new owner who has never filled the card in still sees the green Verified state, because nothing is required of them yet and the card is reporting compliance rather than a completed submission. Read the sentence, not the colour: "You're verified β€” next level unlocks near $500.00 lifetime payout" means no verification is due yet. It is not confirmation that your details are on file.
