Partner links
The Referral Programme gives every account one link and pays you a share of every top-up the people who join through it make. A partner link is a second kind of link, for members who have agreed with the Onflow Ads team to promote the platform: a named, tracked link that the team creates and attaches to your account, with its own figures and โ where the arrangement says so โ its own rules for when a referral counts.
You cannot create one yourself, and there is nothing on the site to apply for. A partnership is agreed with the team; this page explains what you see, and what to expect, once a link is attached to you.
What a partner link isโ
| Thing | What it looks like | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| The link | https://onflowads.com/ref/your-name | The name after /ref/ is chosen by the team when the link is made โ usually your brand or your channel |
| Tracking tags | https://onflowads.com/ref/your-name?utm_source=โฆ&utm_campaign=โฆ | The familiar utm_ tags, set by the team, so both sides can tell which placement a visitor came from. Share the link exactly as it is given to you |
| Its reference | OFRL- then three digits and four โ the Partner link ID | Shown with the link on your Referral Programme page, and as Partner link ID in every email about it. This is the reference to quote to support about a partnership |
In every way that matters, it behaves exactly like your own /i/ link:
- Everyone who joins through it is your referral โ bound to you permanently at sign-up, whichever way they sign up, exactly as with your own link.
- Their top-ups earn you the same commission โ the same rate, credited as non-withdrawable boost credit, and taken back if the top-up is refunded. Whether every top-up earns depends on the link's commission mode, below.
- It always lands on the Onflow Ads homepage โ never an error page โ and the referral is attached quietly in the background.
- A click stays attributable for the same length of time as a click on your own link.
The one difference is that a click and a sign-up through a partner link remember which link brought them. That is what lets the link's figures be read on their own โ by you, and by the team.
How a link is attached to youโ
The team creates the link and attaches it to your account using your Account ID โ the OFA-โฆ printed on your account page. That is the only thing they need from you, and it is safe to send.
Until a link is attached, nothing about partner links appears anywhere in your account โ there is no empty section waiting to be filled. The moment one is attached you are emailed, subject "Onflow Ads referral programme: A partner link is attached to your account", with the link itself, the rules it carries in plain words, and a button to your Referral Programme page.
The rules for a referral to countโ
A partner link can carry rules that a referral must meet to count as a qualified referral. Every rule is something the site already records about an account โ nobody fills in a form, and nothing is asked of the person you referred.
| Rule | What the person has to have done |
|---|---|
| Verified their email | Confirmed the address they signed up with |
| Linked Telegram | Connected a Telegram identity to their account |
| Added a channel | Added at least one channel |
| Topped up the wallet | Had at least one deposit credited. The team can set a minimum: it is the total of their deposits, and with a deadline only the deposits credited inside it count |
| Placed a Paid Promotion order | Booked at least one placement in the marketplace |
| Placed a Boost order | Placed at least one Boost Metrics order |
| Ran a Subscriber Exchange ad | Submitted at least one ad to the exchange |
| Started a Cross-Promotion | Created or joined at least one cross-promotion |
| Bought a plan | Paid for a plan from their wallet |
| Stayed active a week | Was active on at least three separate days in their first seven |
A link can require any combination โ signed up, then topped up and placed a Paid Promotion order, say โ and can add a deadline, so that the actions only count when they happen within a set number of days of joining. A link with no rules counts every sign-up.
You never have to guess what your link requires. The rules are written out in plain words in that link's section of your Referral Programme page and in the email that announced it, and if the team changes them you are emailed again.
Two ways commission is paidโ
| Mode | What earns |
|---|---|
| Standard | Every top-up a referral pays, from their first deposit onward โ exactly as your own link does. Any rules on the link decide only how many referrals are shown as qualified |
| Qualified only | A top-up earns only if the person meets every rule on the link at the moment that top-up is credited. The deposit being credited counts towards a top-up rule, so the deposit that completes the rules earns on itself. Deposits credited before the rules were met do not earn afterwards |
Which mode your link uses is stated in its section of your Referral Programme page and in the email that announced or changed it. Nothing else about the money differs: the same rate, the same boost-credit pocket, the same reversal when a top-up is refunded โ see What you earn.
A partner link does not change what commission is paid in: non-withdrawable boost credit, spendable on Boost Metrics orders and nothing else, whatever your plan.
What you see on the pageโ
Once a link is attached, your Referral Programme page shows a Partner link section beneath your own figures โ one block for each link. Each block carries:
- the link, ready to copy, with its name and its
OFRL-โฆreference; - its status โ active or paused โ and when it was attached to you;
- the rules for a referral to count, in words, and the commission mode;
- how many referrals qualify and how many are not yet qualified;
- the figures the team has switched on for you;
- the people who joined through the link โ each by their OFA ID, shown as it is because it is the platform's public handle for an account, with the day they joined, how they signed up, what they have done since and whether they count as qualified. Never a name, an email, an address, a device or a channel, exactly as on the rest of the page.
The figures come from a catalogue of around fifty, and the team chooses which of them your section shows โ so two partners can see different sets, and a figure that is not switched on is simply not there. They fall into four groups:
| Group | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Funnel | How the link is performing at the top: clicks and unique visitors, recent and all-time; how many people joined and when the last one did; the share of clicks that became sign-ups; how people signed up, where the clicks came from, and whether they were on a phone or a desktop |
| Activity | How the people you referred are settling in: the share who verified their email, linked Telegram or added a channel; how many are active this week and this month; how many went quiet after signing up; and how many are still around after their first week and their first month |
| Money | What your referrals have paid and spent: deposits and their total, the typical first deposit and how long it took to arrive, orders and spend across the engines, plans bought โ and your commission, shown as credited, reversed after refunds, and kept |
| Qualification | How many referrals meet every rule on the link, how many are still pending, and the rules themselves |
The section's figures can be up to five minutes old. They are counted from live activity each time rather than kept as running totals, so they cannot drift from the rest of your account.
How referrals are checkedโ
A reward paid for sign-ups nobody meant to use is a reward paid for nothing, so the team looks at whether the people a link brought are real โ for partner links and ordinary referral links alike. Referred accounts are compared with one another and with yours: whether several were created from the same device or the same network address, whether they arrived in a burst, whether they ever came back after the day they joined, whether they used a throw-away email address, and whether they ever did anything on the platform.
No single signal decides anything. Two friends signing up from one home network, or a flurry of sign-ups after a good post, is on its own no problem at all. These are signals a person weighs, not verdicts a machine issues โ and only where several of them add up to sign-ups that were manufactured, self-referred or bought may the rewards concerned be withheld or reversed, those referrals stop counting, or a partner link be ended. The rules are in the Terms, ยง31.
When a partnership is paused or endsโ
The team may pause or end a partnership at any time. You are emailed either way, and an ending always states the reason.
| Change | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Paused | The link stops counting new visitors while it is paused. Everyone who already joined stays your referral. The block stays on your page, marked paused, and you are emailed again when the link is active |
| Ended | The link stops for good, and its block leaves your page. Everyone who already joined through it stays your referral, commission already credited stays yours, and your own referral link keeps working as before. An ended link is never switched back on โ a new partnership means a new link |
Neither change touches your own /i/ link, or the referrals it brought you.
Referral reports by emailโ
The team can email you a referral report: a plain-words summary of how your referral link did over a period the team chooses โ the last 30 days unless they pick another, or all time. The figures cover that period: the clicks in it, the people who joined in it and the commission credited in it, alongside how many of those people stayed active, their deposits, and their Paid Promotion and Boost orders โ with a line for how many referrals meet the rules when your link carries any. When the period is not all time, two since-you-joined totals are added underneath โ people referred, and commission kept โ so a quiet month never reads as if nothing ever happened. It arrives with the subject "Your Onflow Ads referral report" followed by the period, and may include a note from the team.
A PDF copy may be attached. It is locked: the password that opens it is your full Account ID, the whole OFA-โฆ exactly as printed on your account page.
If something goes wrongโ
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No Partner link section on your page | No link is attached to your account โ or the only one there was has ended | There is nothing to switch on from your side. If you have agreed a partnership and were emailed about a link, contact support and quote the OFRL-โฆ from that email |
| A figure you expected is not in the section | The team has not switched that figure on for your link | Ask the team; the set shown is chosen link by link |
| A referral is listed as not yet qualified | They have not met every rule on the link โ or did not meet them inside its deadline | The rules are written out in the section. Nothing can be changed from your side |
| A referral topped up and you earned nothing | The link pays qualified only and the person did not meet the rules when that deposit was credited โ or the credit was a bonus or an adjustment rather than a payment | See What you earn |
| The link opens the homepage with no sign of a referral | That is exactly what it should do | The attribution is invisible to the visitor, as with your own link |
| An email saying your link is paused, or your partnership has ended | The team paused or ended the link; an ending states the reason | Referrals already made stay yours. Write to support with the OFRL-โฆ if you have a question about it |
