Channels and verificationโ
How do I add a channel?โ
Press Add a channel in the My channels heading on your hub โ or go straight to https://onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard/channels/new โ and paste your public channel link there. The other, more common route is a cross-promotion: pasting a channel link into the create or join flow registers the same channel for you automatically. See Adding a channel.
Why does Onflow Ads need its bot as an administrator in my channel?โ
Three jobs, and they are the bot's only jobs. It proves the channel exists and that you control it โ only an administrator can appoint another administrator โ and it reads your exact subscriber count. It delivers, publishing and removing the placements you accept. And it checks what actually happened, watching that an agreed post stays up for its full term, which is what backs your reliability score and protects you when the other side is at fault. The verification panel lists exactly which rights are required, and why.
The check keeps failing even though I added the botโ
Work down this list:
- Confirm you added the bot to the channel itself, not to its linked discussion group.
- Open the channel's administrator settings and check the bot has Post Messages switched on. That specific right is required.
- Make sure you pasted the channel's public
t.melink or@username, not a private invite link. - Wait a few seconds after changing rights, then press I've done it โ check again.
There is no Pin Messages switch on my channel โ how does pinning work?โ
You are not missing it โ Telegram does not put one there. can_pin_messages is a groups and supergroups right, and a channel administrator's rights simply do not include it.
In a channel, pinning is granted by "Edit Messages of Others", one of the three switches inside Manage Messages. Turn Manage Messages on with all three and the bot can post, edit, delete and pin.
You do not need it to list, deliver or get paid. It matters for exactly one thing: offering a paid pin on your Paid Promotions rate card. Switching one on runs a live check against Telegram, and if the bot cannot pin the save is refused with a message naming your channel and the toggle. See Verifying your channel.
Can I list a private channel or a group?โ
No. Only public Telegram channels can be registered. Groups and personal profiles are rejected during verification, and private channels have no public page to verify against. +invite and joinchat links are refused before the check even runs.
It says "You've already added that channel"โ
A record for that handle already exists on your account โ quite possibly created for you by a cross-promotion. Open it directly at https://onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard/channels/ followed by its OFCH- reference, which is printed in its row in My channels.
Why can't I edit my channel?โ
Editing is locked while a channel is Pending review and after it is Approved; you will see "This channel is locked while it's under review." If it comes back as Needs changes, editing reopens along with the reviewer's note. See Editing channel details.
My channel was rejected โ what now?โ
Open its address directly. The reviewer's note is at the top of the wizard, as "Changes requested:" followed by what they asked for. Fix it and press Submit for review again. Saving alone does not resubmit.
How do I delete a channel?โ
Support does it for you. Contact support with the channel's OFCH- reference and say why. See Removing a channel.
When support removes a channel record, everything on it goes: name, description, category, keywords, prices, audience information, review status, reviewer note, stored photo and its OFCH- reference. Listing the channel again means registering it, verifying it, filling in the wizard and passing review from scratch. Be sure before you ask.
How do I refresh my subscriber count?โ
It refreshes itself where it counts, and there is nothing to press. Open the channel's own dashboard โ click its row in My channels โ and it re-reads Telegram on the spot; the line under the channel name says "Read from Telegram just now" when it succeeded. Any figure it could not measure is labelled "As stated by the owner โ not measured by us" rather than passed off as a measurement, and a figure with no source at all gets no tile rather than a zero. Each engine also measures your channel on its own schedule where the number matters commercially. See A channel's own dashboard.
My channel photo is not showingโ
The photo comes from Telegram when the channel is registered. If it did not come through, open the wizard's Details step and use Upload image โ JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 2 MB. Note that Remove clears the photo completely rather than restoring the Telegram one.
The photo uploaded but looks brokenโ
The upload check reads the file's header, so a truncated or corrupt file with an intact header is accepted. Re-export the image from an editor and upload it again.
My channel shows a Paid Promotions chip but I never listed it thereโ
That chip is triggered by the channel registry's own review status as well as by a real marketplace listing, so submitting a channel through the setup wizard earns it whether or not you have a marketplace presence. Check /telegram/dashboard/paid-promotion for the truth. See Managing your channels.
The dashboardโ
The stat tiles show dashesโ
Dashes mean the numbers have not answered, not that they are zero. Refresh the page. Your channels, orders and wallet are unaffected.
The hub's numbers disagree with an engine's own pageโ
Almost always the 7-day windows. Boost is counted from when an order was created, not when it delivered, and Paid Promotions placements the monitor has not measured are left out rather than counted as zero. Cross-promotions add nothing to Reach at all, because they measure ad opens rather than impressions. Full definitions are on The dashboard home.
I clicked a channel and got a whole page โ what is it?โ
That channel's own dashboard, and it is what a registered channel's row opens: live Telegram figures, a fortnight of trend, what each of the four engines has done with it, what it has earned and cost, its recent activity, and โ while it has an active Paid Promotions listing โ the short public link you can share. See A channel's own dashboard.
I clicked a different channel and got a popup instead โ why?โ
Because that one has no registry record, so there is no page to open. A channel that only ever reached us through a Boost order or a Subscriber Exchange enrolment has no OFCH- reference, and its row falls back to the lighter channel story popup: the engines it has been through, and the single most recent campaign it ran in any of them. Adding it to the registry gives it the full page. See The channel story popup.
Where do I write ad copy with AI, and where is support?โ
The AI writing helper is built into every post composer, so it is wherever you are writing the post. Support is the floating chat widget in the bottom-right corner of every page.
Where do I find my wallet, reliability score and notifications quickly?โ
In the header of every signed-in page: the wallet pill, the shield-shaped reliability pill and the bell. On a phone they hide and the same three entries appear inside your avatar menu.
Links and resultsโ
Where do the figures from the links in my ads appear?โ
On the campaign they belong to: a CTR ยท taps figure, a Joins ยท invite links figure and a Links & results block on each campaign card at /telegram/dashboard/paid-promotion/orders, and blended and per-channel figures on the analytics page. The block's Click analytics button opens the click analytics panel, which breaks the taps down by day, hour, country, device and more; Cross-Promotion results and the Subscriber Exchange's My advertisements open the same panel. See Links and results.
Do my links go through Onflow Ads first?โ
Yes. Each link a reader can tap โ a text link, an address or @handle typed into the text, and every button โ is published as its own onflowads.com/rr/โฆ short link, which counts the tap and sends the reader straight on: into one of your own connected channels through a campaign invite link, so Telegram counts the joins too; to any other Telegram address exactly as written; or to a web page with your campaign tags, where the one-line Onflow tag counts landings and conversions too. A few things are left exactly as written โ see Links and results. Ads booked before this design still carry their older links, which keep working.
My campaign has no Links & results blockโ
Nothing in the ad could be counted: it carries no link, or only links left as written โ an email address, a link that is already an onflowads.com short link, or text in code formatting. A campaign booked before every link became a short link may also have none, if its only links were bare addresses or Telegram addresses that are not your connected channels. See Links and results.
Notificationsโ
I'm not getting Telegram notificationsโ
Telegram DMs need your account linked to our bot. Open /telegram/dashboard/notifications?tab=settings. If the amber "Connect your Telegram" note is showing, the Telegram column is disabled because there is no link yet โ follow it, then check the toggles.
I chose a digest but still got an instant emailโ
By design. Six kinds always send immediately: a failed payment, a declined order, an order delivered, a rejected withdrawal, a partially delivered Boost order, and a paused Auto-Boost subscription. Everything else waits for the roundup.
Can I turn off the bell?โ
No. The in-app feed always records everything, so you always have a complete history. The Email and Telegram toggles control the channels that reach you outside the site.
I completed a top-up but got no payment emailโ
Deliberate. A successful top-up already sends you a PDF invoice, so the notification arrives in-app and as a Telegram DM without a second email. Failed payments do email you immediately.
Reliabilityโ
Why did my score drop?โ
Open /telegram/dashboard/reliability and scroll to Your ledger. Every change lists its amount, its reason and its date. Penalties only fire on confirmed outcomes, never silently.
A ledger row is a whole sentence instead of a short labelโ
That is the โ0.40 top-of-feed exclusivity penalty, and the sentence is the record: something like "2 other posts went up during the 60-minute exclusive window, the first 40 minutes in." The reliability page has no short label for this event yet, so it prints the reason it was given. It is a real, appealable penalty like any other. See Your reliability score.
I think a penalty is wrongโ
Press Appeal on that ledger entry and explain briefly why, in up to 500 characters. Every appeal is read by a human. If it is upheld, the exact points are restored and the entry is tagged Reversed.
My appeal disappeared and nothing happenedโ
That is what a declined appeal looks like. There is no email, DM or bell notification either way โ the outcome shows only on the ledger, where the row either flips to Reversed or its Appeal under review tag clears.
How long until my score recovers on its own?โ
It depends on the most serious recent mark: after a clean streak of 14 to 45 days the score drifts up daily, faster for lighter marks. Completing clean deals is always quicker, because those credits apply immediately. Healing never lifts you above 8.0 by itself.
What does "Under Review" mean on my score?โ
An open fraud concern, or a wallet freeze, is being investigated. Your score is frozen so it cannot be weaponised mid-dispute, and you cannot start new deals until it clears. Anything already in progress still finishes.
My ledger says "Carried over from a removed account"โ
An earlier account with the same identity was deleted while standing below the neutral 8.0, and registering again inside the memory window resumes that score rather than resetting it. An account deleted in good standing leaves nothing behind. See Your reliability score.
