Clicks and joins on your dashboards

Your dashboards show what your tracked links did: how many people tapped them, how many joined a channel, and how quickly. Advertisers see the links in their own campaigns. Channel owners also see the ads published in their channels. Syndicate attribution lines and Pulse polls have their own panels.

Available on every plan

The panels and their CSV downloads are the same on every plan. What you can run differs by plan; what you can read about it does not.

Where to find them

  • Paid Promotions home, as an Advertiser: Clicks and joins on your links.
  • Paid Promotions home, as a Channel owner: Clicks and joins in your channels.
  • Syndicate β†’ Licences: Attribution line clicks and joins, for the licences you license out or host.
  • Pulse: Responses over time, for a poll you ran or hosted.

Read the clicks panel

Elite plan Β· Advertiser β€” clicks and joins on your links 1 Choose the flow (all, Paid Promotions, Cross-Promotion or Syndicate), how to group the rows (campaign, channel or post) and the period (7, 30 or 90 days). 2 The headline tiles. 3 Taps per day, in your own time zone; hover a day or use the arrow keys. 4 Download CSV saves the same figures as a spreadsheet.

The tiles mean:

  • Taps: taps by people that counted. Link previews, crawlers and flagged bursts are left out, and the tile says how many.
  • After repeat window: the same taps, with a second tap by the same reader on the same link within a short window (30 seconds) counted once. A double tap is one tap.
  • Unique readers: each reader once in the period.
  • Joins: people who joined a channel through the link. Joins only: people who leave are never counted or subtracted.
  • Join rate: joins per unique reader.
  • Time to join: the median time from a tap to a join. Each join is matched to the most recent tap on the same link before it, within 72 hours. A join records no reader, so this is not necessarily the joiner's own tap: it is an estimate for the link. Joins with no tap in the window are counted as joins but not timed.

Under the chart, By campaign (or channel, or post) lists every row with its taps, unique readers, joins and join rate. Then come Country, Device and Referring site.

  1. Press Show as table on the chart to read the exact numbers per day.
  2. Press Channel to see the same figures per channel, or Post per order or licence.
  3. Press Download CSV to save the view.

As a Channel owner

Elite plan Β· Channel owner β€” clicks and joins in your channels 1 The switches. 2 The headline tiles. 3 The rows, one per campaign, channel or post.

You see the taps and joins of the ads published in your channels, your own cross-promotions, and the Syndicate attribution lines you carry or license out. You see counts only, never who tapped.

Syndicate attribution lines

Elite plan Β· Channel owner β€” clicks and joins on your attribution lines 1 Taps on the attribution lines and the joins they brought. 2 One row per licence when grouped by post.

The licensor (whose post it is) and the host (whose channel carries it) both see the attribution line's figures.

Pulse: responses over time

Plus plan Β· Advertiser β€” a poll's voters over time 1 Pick a poll. 2 Voters, response rate and hosts. 3 Voters hour by hour, in your time zone.

  • Response rate is voters per average view of the channel when the poll was posted. It is an estimate.
  • The brand that ran the poll sees every host. A host sees only their own channel.
  • Pulse polls are native Telegram polls. They do not link out, so there are no poll link clicks to count.

Privacy

These figures are counts kept on our servers. No internet address is stored, the referring site is kept as its name only, and the panels set no cookie, so they need no cookie choice. The detailed record of a tap is deleted after 395 days; daily totals stay. See the Privacy Policy summary.
