20 October 2026 β Paid Promotions payout rule
On 20 October 2026 Paid Promotions moved to the same payout rule as Pulse. This note says what you will notice and where the guide explains each part as it works today.
What changed in Paid Promotions on 20 October 2026β
- One payout date on every plan. A channel owner's payout lands in their wallet as withdrawable money 7 days after the ad's run ends. A lower reliability band waits longer: 10 days (Watch), 14 days (Restricted) or 21 days (Frozen). It is never paid before the advertiser's 72-hour dispute window has closed, or while a dispute is open. Both sides see the date on the booking.
- No faster payouts. The plan payout speeds, the owner's paid instant payout and the owner's claim are gone. Confirming a placement no longer releases the payment. No plan, support request or member of our team can pay sooner.
- Disputes have a 72-hour window. An advertiser can open a dispute from publication until 72 hours after the run ends, with a reason and evidence. A person decides it: the payout is released on its date, split, or refunded to the advertiser.
- Early release, for advertisers only. Once the ad is confirmed live, the advertiser may release the payment early on its own page. It is a deliberate choice: it gives up disputes, refunds and Onflow Ads' help with fraud for that booking, and it cannot be undone.
What you need to do about these changesβ
Nothing. Bookings already running carry on, and their payouts follow the rule above. A booking published before the change keeps the dispute window it was sold with, if that is longer.
