What's New
This is the Onflow Ads changelog β the running record of what changes on the platform. Every new feature, improvement, price or policy change and notable fix is written up here by the Onflow Ads team, newest first.
Nothing on this page is account-specific. It reads the same for a signed-out visitor as it does for an Ultimate member, and no sign-in is required to open it or to open one update from a link.
The notes below are loaded fresh from Onflow Ads each time you open this page, so what you see is always current. That also means this one page needs a connection β the rest of the guide reads fine offline, and it is the single section deliberately left out of the downloadable PDF, because a printed release feed is wrong the following week.
Loading the latest updatesβ¦
How to read this pageβ
The page has two modes. You land in the list, and opening any one note switches to that note's own page, which has its own address you can share.
The list shows, from the top:
- The filter bar. A row of pills β All, then one pill for each type of change that appears in the notes currently loaded, always in the order New, Improved, Fixed, Changed, Removed, Security. A type with no notes loaded gets no pill, so the bar is short early on and grows as the feed does. All is selected when you arrive.
- One card per note. Each card carries the type badge, the note's title, the version it shipped in when there is one, the date and time it was published, and a Read more button. The card is a header only β the body of the note lives on its own page.
- Show older updates, at the very bottom, when there is more history than has been loaded.
Notes are ordered by publication time, newest first. A note the team publishes while you are reading does not jump into the middle of the list β the feed pages backwards from where you started, so you cannot be pushed past something you have not seen.
Pressing Fixed filters the notes that have been loaded so far, not the whole history. If a filter shows nothing you will see No <type> updates on this page. β press Show older updates first, then the filter again.
What each badge meansβ
The badge on a card, and the coloured rail down its left edge, tell you what kind of change the note describes.
| Badge | What the note is about |
|---|---|
| New | Something that did not exist before β a page, a product, a control, an option. |
| Improved | An existing feature made better without changing what it is for. |
| Fixed | A defect corrected. Worth reading if the behaviour it describes is one you had hit. |
| Changed | Behaviour, wording, a limit or a figure that now works differently from before. Read these when a number you relied on has moved. |
| Removed | Something withdrawn. The note says what replaced it, if anything did. |
| Security | A change made for the safety of accounts, money or data. |
A note published without a type carries no badge and no coloured rail, and no filter pill will bring it up on its own β it only appears under All.
Version tags are optional. Where a note has one it appears next to the date as a small monospaced pill; where it does not, nothing is shown and nothing is missing.
The timestamp on every note is converted into your browser's own locale and time zone, so two people in different countries reading the same note see two different strings for the same instant. If your device clock or locale is unusual, the page falls back to a plain date and time, and where the stored timestamp is unusable it prints Publication date unavailable rather than guessing.
Opening and sharing one updateβ
- Press Read more on a card, or click the note's title. The page switches to that note's own view, scrolled to the top, and the address gains an
?entry=parameter carrying the note's id. - Read the full note. The body is written in Markdown by the team and may contain headings, bullet and numbered lists, code blocks, bold, italics, inline code and links.
- Copy the address if you want to send it to someone. At the foot of the note, the Shareable link row shows the exact URL and a Copy button; the button reads Copied! for a moment once the link is on your clipboard. If your browser blocks clipboard access the URL is still printed there to copy by hand.
- Press Back to What's New β there is one at the top of the note and another at the bottom β to return to the list. Your browser's own back button does the same thing.
The address you copy needs no account and no sign-in, so it can go to a client, a channel or a support thread as-is. It points at one specific note, not at the top of the feed, so it keeps meaning the same thing after the team publishes ten more.
Loading more historyβ
Show older updates fetches the next batch of notes and appends them below the ones already on the page. While it is working the button reads Loading⦠and cannot be pressed again. A batch is twenty notes; the feed never serves more than fifty in one request, however it is asked.
The button only appears while Onflow Ads has confirmed there is more to fetch, so a list with no button at the bottom is the complete published history, not a page that failed to finish.
If something goes wrongβ
Every state on this page comes down to the connection between your browser and Onflow Ads, or to a note that is no longer published. None of them means anything is wrong with your account, and none of them affects a campaign, an order or a balance.
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Loading the latest updates⦠| The page is fetching the feed. It gives up after ten seconds. | Wait. If it does not resolve, the message below replaces it. |
| The changelog is not available right now. | The feed could not be fetched β no connection, a blocked request, a browser extension, or a timeout. | Press Try again. If it keeps failing, check the status page and your ad or script blocker; the rest of the guide keeps working offline. |
| No entries yet. | Onflow Ads answered, and the answer was an empty feed. Usually that means nothing has been published yet; it is also what you see if the feed is degraded, because it is built to return an empty list rather than an error. | Nothing on your side. The page fills in as the team ships. If you know updates exist, reload in a few minutes. |
No <type> updates on this page. | A filter is active and none of the loaded notes carry that type. | Press Show older updates to load more history, or press All. |
| Older entries could not be loaded. | The first batch arrived but a later one did not. The notes already on screen are still correct. | Reload the page. |
| Loading this update⦠| One note's own page is being fetched by its id. | Wait; it also gives up after ten seconds. |
| This update couldn't be loaded. | The single note could not be fetched β the same connection problem as above, on one note. | Press Try again, or Back to What's New to go back to the list. |
| Update not found. | The link points at a note that is no longer published, or at an id that never existed. | Press Back to What's New and look for the note in the list. If it is not there either, read the section of this guide that covers the feature instead. |
If a shared link now says Update not found, do not assume the change it described has been undone. Unpublishing a note only removes the write-up. Check the current behaviour in the section of this guide that covers it, or ask support β the guide itself is rewritten whenever the product changes.
