Scans and prices
These questions cover which channels Brand Safety Shield can scan and how each scan is paid for.
Can I scan any channel I name?
No. Shield scans only channels that are listed in Paid Promotions or connected to Onflow Ads. See Scans and verdicts.
Can I pay for scans with Onflow Credit?
Yes. Onflow Credit is used first and any rest comes from your wallet. The quote shows the split before you confirm. See Onflow Credit.
Is a repeat scan charged again?
Not while the saved result is still fresh. A repeat scan of the same channel against the same profile shows the saved result and when it was made, at no cost.
What Shield promises
These questions cover what Brand Safety Shield can and cannot do for your brand, and what it keeps.
Does Shield guarantee my brand is safe?
No. Shield is an automated check that lowers the chance of an unsafe post next to your ad and pauses the ad when one appears during a watched run. It cannot promise that no unsafe post ever appears, and its decisions can be appealed.
Does Shield keep copies of channel posts?
No. It keeps verdicts and links to posts. Words read during a live run are deleted within the hour once checked.
Does a pause hurt the channel owner's reliability?
No. The owner keeps the share for the time the ad was up, and their reliability score does not change.
