Brand profiles
A brand profile tells Shield what your brand does not want to appear next to. You can keep several profiles, for example one per brand or one per product line, and pick one for each scan and each campaign.
Brand profiles work the same way on every plan.
What a profile holdsβ
A profile has a name and three lists, plus one choice. Categories the platform never allows are always included.
- Content categories to avoid. Pick from the same content categories Onflow Ads uses for its own content rules, such as gambling, crypto, politics, hate or piracy. Content that is never allowed on Onflow Ads is always included and cannot be removed.
- Keywords. Words or short phrases of your own, such as a competitor's name.
- Website domains. Websites whose links you do not want next to your ad, written like example.com. They are matched in the links of a post; Onflow Ads never opens them.
- When a channel fails this profile. Choose Warn me to be asked to confirm before a booking goes ahead, or Block the booking so a channel that fails is not booked.
Create a profileβ
- Open the Brand Safety page from the Telegram dashboard.
- Under Your profiles, press New profile and give it a name.
- Tick the categories, add keywords with Add keyword and websites with Add domain, and choose Warn me or Block the booking.
- Press Save profile.
Plus plan Β· Advertiser β editing a Brand Safety profile 1 Content categories to avoid, with the categories the platform never allows always on. 2 Your keywords. 3 Your website domains. 4 Warn me or Block the booking.
A channel owner who is asked to run a Shield-on ad sees the categories you picked, never your keywords or websites. See Brand Safety for channel owners.
Change or delete a profileβ
You can change a profile at any time. A change applies to new scans and new bookings; a booking already running keeps the profile it was made with. Deleting a profile does not stop a running booking.
