Brand Lift refunds
The quote states these rules before you pay. A study's polls follow the Pulse money rules for each channel, in both waves, exposed and comparison alike: see Pricing and the cap.
Every refund goes back to the pocket it came from. Host fees were paid in cash, so they come back to your wallet. The study fee and the 15% Pulse fee come back in the mix they were paid in: the Onflow Credit part as Onflow Credit, the rest to your wallet. Onflow keeps the 15% of a channel when the host deleted the poll early, or your dispute was upheld. When Onflow keeps it, the Onflow Credit that paid it stays spent.
Brand Lift studies start at Elite.
Each caseβ
| What happens | Study fee | Poll fees |
|---|---|---|
| You cancel before the pre-wave is sent | Refunded | Refunded |
| A host deletes a poll early, proven | Kept | That host fee refunded; Onflow keeps the 15%, as in Pulse |
| Your dispute about a channel's payout is upheld | Kept | That host fee (or the decided part) refunded; Onflow keeps the 15% |
| A poll fails on Onflow's side, or Telegram has an outage | Refunded if the study cannot produce its result | Everything for that poll refunded; the host is not paid |
| A failure on our side stops the study | Refunded | Parts not run refunded |
| The campaign is cancelled before readers see it | Refunded | Parts not run refunded |
| The campaign's first post moves so early that the pre-wave can no longer run | Refunded | Parts not run refunded |
| The result is inconclusive | Kept, unless polls that failed on Onflow's side are part of what was missing: then refunded | Polls that ran are paid to hosts; unused fees refunded |
Offers that hosts did not accept are refunded in full at each wave's launch, as in Pricing and the cap. A study bought before these rules keeps the rules it was bought under.
