Cancellations and refunds
This page covers stopping an order, and every way money comes back to you. Two principles run through all of it:
- You pay only for what is delivered.
- Money returns to the pocket it came from. Boost credit refunds as boost credit, wallet cash as wallet cash, and the promotional share of a wallet payment goes back locked. Promotional balance can never become withdrawable cash through a refund.
Every refund on this page is automatic. There is no claim form anywhere in Boost.
Before you start
- Cancelling is per order. Batch lines are independent orders; cancel one without touching the rest.
- Not every service can be cancelled. It is a provider capability recorded on the service, not a plan feature.
- Cancelling costs nothing. There is no fee for stopping an order.
Cancelling a live order
- Open Orders at https://onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard/boost/orders.
- Find the order. If it can be cancelled, the row carries a Cancel button. If it does not, the provider does not support cancelling it — the button is deliberately absent rather than present and broken.
- Press Cancel. Your browser asks to confirm: Cancel this order? Any undelivered amount is refunded.
- Confirm. The response reads Cancellation requested. Anything undelivered is refunded automatically as soon as the provider confirms. The order keeps its current status meanwhile, and the request is stamped on its delivery timeline.
- When the provider confirms, the order settles as Canceled and the undelivered share is refunded, split back into the pockets you paid from.
Cancellations are limited to 20 per hour.
Only the share the provider did not deliver comes back. Units already delivered are kept and are not refundable — the provider keeps our money for them, so we keep yours. Delivery also continues right up to the moment the provider processes your cancel, so the delivered share can grow between your click and their confirmation.
The refund matrix
| Situation | What you get back | When |
|---|---|---|
| No provider accepted your order | The full charge | Immediately, before you even leave the composer |
| The order was stuck in Submitting for over 180 seconds | The full charge | Automatically, by the safety sweep |
| A provider accepted it and then reported it failed, with evidence some units arrived | The undelivered share, pro-rata | On the next status poll |
| A provider accepted it and then reported it failed, with no evidence of any delivery | The full charge, and the order is relabelled Refunded rather than Error | On the next status poll |
| Partially delivered | The undelivered share, pro-rata | The moment the order settles |
| Cancelled in flight | The remainder the provider returns | When the provider confirms |
| An Auto-Boost rule is cancelled | The unspent budget pool, in full, as wallet cash | Immediately. See Auto-Boost |
| An order that earned a discount rebate is fully refunded | The boost credit minted for that order is reversed, never taking your credit below zero | With the refund |
When a provider reports failure but gives us no usable remaining count and the order never recorded any delivery, the platform refunds the whole charge and shows the order as Refunded. A claim that everything was delivered by an order that failed is not evidence, and the platform deliberately resolves that ambiguity in your favour.
Where to see a refund
- On the order row, in the charge sub-line:
kept for delivered partwhen units had arrived, refunded to sourcewhen the whole charge came back. - In your wallet Activity, as the cash part — with a wallet notification.
- On the boost-credit ledger, as the credit part, labelled Boost refund.
- On the order's public proof page, in the delivery timeline — although the proof page shows no money at all. See Delivery proof pages.
The credit-and-cash split, precisely
An order paid with $2.00 of boost credit and $8.00 of wallet cash, refunded in full, returns $2.00 as boost credit and $8.00 as wallet cash. A partial refund splits pro-rata across both pockets in the same proportions.
There is a third detail. If part of that $8.00 of wallet cash was itself promotional — locked balance from a deposit bonus, say — the refund re-locks exactly that much rather than paying it back as withdrawable money. Refunds restore your balances as they were, not better.
Ordering with promotional balance and cancelling is not a route to withdrawable cash. The locked share goes back locked, every time, and a fully refunded order also claws back any boost credit that order earned as a discount rebate.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No Cancel button on a live order | The provider does not support cancelling this service | Use Report a problem on the row instead |
| This service doesn't support cancellation. | Same, refused at the API | Nothing to do; check for a cancel capability before reordering |
| This order can no longer be cancelled. | It already settled — completed, partial, refunded or errored | Nothing to stop. A partial delivery is refunded automatically anyway |
| This order can't be cancelled. | The order carries no provider reference | Use Report a problem |
| The provider couldn't cancel it: … | The provider refused right now, and its reason is passed through | Try again shortly. If it persists, report the order |
| Order not found. | The reference does not belong to your account | Check you copied the whole OFB- id |
| You got back less than you expected | The delivered share grew between your click and the provider's confirmation | The delivered units are yours and were paid for |
| The order still says In progress minutes after you cancelled | Normal — the status changes when the provider confirms, not when you ask | Wait; the page re-reads status about every 45 seconds |
| A refund appears in two places for different amounts | Correct — the credit part and the cash part are separate ledger lines | Add them together; they equal the refund |
We can cancel too
Our team can stop any Boost order or Auto-Boost rule by its Track ID — as the outcome of a campaign report, or on our own review. The money outcome follows the same rules as your own cancel: what was not delivered is refunded to its source, and the act is recorded on the order's event trail.
Signed in, you can ask Onflow AI to cancel a boost order in plain words — cancel my boost order OFB-… — and it proposes the cancellation, waits for you to type CONFIRM, then runs it through the same control this page describes, with the same refund rules. What the assistant can do for you has the full list and the confirmation rule.
